2008- birthing pains for a new world

2008 (especially this month) has been filled with a seemingly endless string of dramatic happenings in my life and the lives of everyone I know. It seems that everyone is being forced to face their fears and suppressed desires. Things that have been underneath the surface or in the subconscious are manifesting at an astounding rate in our physical world.

It's as if all of the emotional/mental/spiritual blockages are being brought up so we can move past them. But... this is happening so fast that it seems to be wearing thin on everyone's nerves. Everyone around me is experiencing anxiety, depression, and insomnia. I even notice these things in discussions with strangers, and people unaware of anything "new age"-ish.

Old flames and friends making contact for the first time in years, secrets being revealed that I thought would never get out, people blurting out their true feelings left and right, trying to make amends. This is insanity! I feel a strange combination of peace because so many things are being released and intense stress because I know we are nowhere near done.

Just wanted to know about any similar experiences from you guys? Or no?

Also: the quality of my dreams is becoming more real and the quality of my waking life is becoming more dreamlike all the time. This is again something corroborated with my friends/family. It's almost like you think of something, and bam! it pops up in your life. Synchronicity is more intense than ever.

Well, that's about it. Better stop there before this becomes extremely rambley.

Birthing pains is right...lol i have called it growing pains....either words are fitting enough....it is happening all over the world....you not alone in these events....you said it so simpley...i like that....it really is that simple....what you said should be printed out and sent to every house ...or given to every person...this is just the begining...De

It's happening here as well. I've had multiple breakdowns in the same day over the past week. Something big is happening.

Spiritual growth is always a process of finding the new and joyous, mixed with mourning the loss of the old. When this applies to the one it is confusing enough. But when an entire planet is ascending into higher frequencies we are all in this together. The wearing thin of emotions and the irritation is part of the process.......when we are tired of worrying and fretting we will simply let it go. When we all let go we will all ascend together.
My deepest desire is for ascension into a world where we don't eat each other; where the lion really does lie down with the lamb. I envision a world where sharing is the way of life and greed and power do not exist, where we can go gently with each other and tread softly on the planet. I am told by many that I am an unrealistic dreamer but I feel that if we all saw this as possible, it would become so.

The thing about possibilities is that it is complex....there are all the possible chanes that it wont happen....just as there are all the possible chances that it will happen...and many other points that will take us off the path....they are all mere possibilities until we choose other wise....we need to see it as so....we will become.... what we will see...thats really what your getting at right?...De

I share your dream ..practically, the lion may indeed lie down with the lamb, animals have chakras too, supposing they were opened, there would be no desire or need to eat each other..so now all we need is high enough frequencies and a massive team of chakra openers, and world peace is achieved ...It may be but a dream, but it's mine to hold

We always have the power to choose what we become. All the possibilities lie before us. When we have no clear focus for our desires, we send out mixed messages and get mixed results. It's a little like going to the store and asking for three different things when we only want to buy one thing. The discomfort lies in clearing away all the old unwanted things and focussing intently on where we want to go next.

There is no right or wrong in this and you are never on the wrong path. If you don't like where you are you can simply choose another path. Look at all the possibilities and enjoy the journey.

All things in the world start with a dream. If we can dream it we can create it. Let's hold fast.

i too am noticing this. In myself i notice it by me finally quiting the habitual smokingf of marijuana, finally getting a job, finally getting my drivers license. All things i been putting off for years, but now just did it, indeed all happened really fast! bit too fast for comfort but im glad its happeneing
