I sooo agree with this! Its like the word Easter. Does anybody know where the word Easter comes from? Eostre was a Goddess. The Goddess of the dawn. She birthed the sun! Easter is latin for Dawn, or The Rising of the Sun. That is why the word Easter is used as the name for the day in which Jesus rose from the dead. The Sun/Son rose... bring new life (in the Spring). Eostre was the patron Goddess of fertility (eggs). Her animal was the hare (Easter bunny). There are still to this day so many hold overs from when Christianity and the Pagan religions were more merged. In this regard I think the two religions can find some comon ground. But I think that if someone chooses to practice some hybred Christian/Wiccan religion that person will have to realize that this religion they are practicing is not Christianity and its not Wicca... its a completely new third religion of their own making.
