Astrology!

Ok I decided to start this thread for anyone who wants to talk about astrology. Anyone interested in the subject whether to learn and ask questoins, or for those of us who are familiar with it and want to share ideas.

I've been into it for about 17 years or so and am working on making it a profession. I LOVE talking about it! So please, if anyone has an interest, step forward!

me likey astrology! Never could understand my natural affinity towards it. My parents thought it was a load of bogus crap... somethings just don't change.

I know a lot of people who think it's crap and they can go right on ahead because they tend to fit their profiles all too well. If their opinions are based on the newspaper horoscopes then they're right - it is a bunch of crap. But if that's all they're basing their knowledge on, they have to get their facts straight. Even twins can have very different charts and once you begin your life, your transits and progressions will diverge.

yes! It's true! I have only dated Air signs and I'm an Aquarius! you'd think that I'd be perfect with them, truth is they drive me nuts! I dated a Scorpio once and I loved being with him, it was calm not up in your face.

People think because they only know of sun signs (and usually don't even know it IS a sun sign) that there are only 12 categories for all the population. Irritating ignorance I say lol

I've heard that before too! I brought up astrology once at a social gathering and some close minded woman said, "what there are only 12 types of people in this world"? Uhmm, wtf is that kind of reasoning?

It's stupid...Can't blame people for not knowing, but I have known people who totally debunk the whole thing because they think they have all the information. Astrologers unite! Let us educate the masses and tell them they are more than their sun sign! Hurrah!

I love learning about my chart or reading what card spreads tell me. I find it fascinating to study the self like a scientist studies their field. It's like reading a good novel.

Me too!! The self, and people in general are the biggest mystery to me. I cannot stop investigating...it annoys people sometimes who don't quite get it...but it's fun and I never get tired of it!
