Attention US voters (and anyone else interested)

well hey everyone... I had to do this assignment for Gov't class about different political parties and I found a little known party called the Green Party

I thought it was too bad that they were so little known because they have some awesome ideas and out of all the parties I researched they were the only ones that didn't bash the other parties and actually seemed to have an idea for all the issues

anyways I think it's worth a look so :

click on the party platform to see the most important stuff the index is helpful too.

sounds good...
Canada has a "Green Party" as well.

it has been growing in popularity as being seen as more holistic and addressing greater grassroot concerns in their platform as well..
they really honor the earth and all things 'green'...
they were spawned from the Greenpeace movement in the 80's I think....

worth checking out.. if they are anything similar...
neat to hear about them though...
wow... choices besides democratic and republicians..

exercise your right... regardless of how you vote ..
thousands of people have given their life to defend this right..
don't go giving it away.

peace and prosperity

actually I have been a member of the green party for over five years now. I was originally independant, but the later decided to through my support behind a good party (plus, like the name indicates, I like green )

yah this is my first year to vote! I'm excited! (*sigh* my friends think I'm a dork oh well ) I have to register soon and I was thinking Independent but it's kind of annoying because if you are and Independent then it just seems like your lost and the Dem. and Rep. just try to pull you to a side... I don't know I just feel like if I put support behind a good cause I'll feel more like I'm helping than just waiting to be swayed and the Green Party seems to know what they're doing they have some fine ideas and want to work on solving the problems from the source instead of a quick fix and a cover up

they seem very Indigo friendly

Also I like Green too

The green party is pretty well known, actually. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Ralph Nader run on a green party ticket in previous elections?

I know he is currently but I don't know about before.... I'd never heard of the Green Party since recently but I couldn't vote until recently either...
