12/12/12 came and then it was 12/13/12. When are people going to realize that time is relative and how time is kept is inaccurate anyway?

If you want a special day, then be receptive to it and be assertive. It's just a day.

Employment is difficult. Returning to the family after experiencing the effects of war erodes relationships. Sons and daughters die in the line of duty. Mothers ...

Speaking metaphorically: Every door we pass through leads to perception. What draws us to the doors we open?

I am giving myself an assignment. Draw a door that you'd like to open. Give it as much or as little detail as you want, be creative, be original. Explain what the drawing/patterns/symbols on the door represent. What about it makes you want to open it? What do you envision is on the other side?

Sometimes I equate deep thought with feelings of sadness or aloness.

It isn't the thought itself. It isn't the process of dissecting the thought, analyzing the observation that led to the thought, nor the observation of how I dissect the analysis of the observation of thought, etc...but rather, sharing the thought with another human being and them shutting it out because they don't want to understand it. It's not that they can't understand it, they blatently don't even want to try. ...
