Sometimes I get lost in this amusement park called earth and perception.

Sometimes it is like a roller coaster, with ups and downs, anticipation, fear, joy.

Other times, it's whirly and I feel like I've had enough.

The colors, the sounds, the people, it all feels so real that I just keep going back on the ride.

I want to let go, even if that means falling off the ride.

I'm tired of always moving but going no where. ...

I repeat in my mind

I walk among the living dead
Searching up and down this world
Doing things most never heard

Did my time among the lost
Paid a very heavy cost
Did my time among the cruel
Laid with the broken fools
Did my time among the brave
Walked around their waiting graves
Did my time among the lies
Watching as they all slowly died ...

This is the future.

I don't know if this idea will ever be realized here in the United States, but in Europe there is a growing movement and awareness for the human and societal benefits of an unconditional Basic Income.
