Burning Man
Wondering if any of you have experienced the art festival in the Nevada Black Rock Desert called Burning Man? I've gone the last two years and found the elemental aspects of the experience to be very interesting. The absence of vegetation creates a sort of clarified space for intense energy connections. It's so intense that at times it can be uncomfortable considering the 40,000 + people that attend for 7 days. It has transformed me. The Burning Man concept is akin to the Phoenix concept. Life, Death, Rebirth. (I've also attended Phoenix Fest in Oregon some years back.) If you read the prior thread on Mormonism you'd have noticed my admittance of intense rebellion and experimentation. After I left the church I started Raving.... NEXT THREAD!!!!
(Sorry, I'm having so much fun- I just found this society yesterday!!!!) This ad goes away when you register. |
