I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I can always tell when the television is on.
I can feel it in my head, kind of.
It's almost like hearing it, but there's no sound.
It's a really high-pitched hum that is always there with the television, or sometimes the radio, though I rarely have the radio on with no sound coming out.
The other day I heard it when the blender was on too, haha.
But I've heard this weird noise since I was about six and I don't know anyone else who hears it.

If anyone can tell me what this is, or hears this too, I would love to know.

I am like this with the television... It does give off a high frequency and I can also feel it in my head and I hear like a high pitched ringing in my ears . I seldom watch tv (once every 6 months or so ) and today I went to my mom's and she turned on the tv and I had to ask her to please turn it off for my sake @_@

I went to breakfast the other day and accidentally left the television on in the basement and as soon as I walked in I knew it was on ..

I get it sometimes too, not just TV either, lights sometimes, my computer, even the power running through electrical devices, it depends on my sensitivity though, it seems to vary, I think I filter it out a lot of the time

could be that my energy is too low to hear on that level though, the higher you raise your chi the more sensory perceptions you are able to use

I hear it with lots of things. TVs, microwaves, computers, refrigerators. Appliances can be rather annoying. Here's a question for you: Are there any appliances that don't work when you are around?

To answer my own question, pin ball machines don't play properly when I'm near them. All I have to do is wave an arm in the room where the machine is and the ball shoots down the gutter everytime. People would tell me to go away until they were done playing. No joke. lol.

television contain a BIG coil which act an electro magnet to lead electron to the right place on the screen,i guess every electrical thing can more or less create this kind of magnetic field, but TV or microwave oven would be good canditate for #1 magnetic field creator devices =) TV still more because microwave oven are isolated, TV are not =) some electronic device are discouraged for ppl waering heart implant or things like that =)

I remember reading about that. It's a degausser coil, made of copper and it can be used to direct electromagnetic fields so it's not as harmful to the humans using the device.

any metallic thing with electricity going in it will create some magnetic field, but device with coils as TV or microwave oven ,will really create high intensity field =) normally magnetic field would only impact metalic materials, but well i think magnetic thing can interact with our cell, in a way or another =) birds or other animals are said to be able to detect magnetic fields, but i don't know what organ they are supposed to use for this and if human have this too =)

no it is not harmfull, magnetic things are not supposed to be harmfull to organic thing at all, even hight intensity magnetic field are not harmfull, but i guess it can tire cells a bit and lead to cancer maybe in long run, but well execpt really high intenisity energy like Gamma ray aka radioactivity or Xray can be harmfull in short term, but it is far more energy than what any common electrical device create =) for create XRay or Gamma from electricity it really need a lot of watt =)

and supra conductor material, etc well far from what you have with common copper coil in common electrical device, and there are strong norm in electronic interference when you put an electrical device in the market etc =)

but well the norm is still quite high not that it is harmfull, but it can easily be detected even with cheap devices, and i guess it is possible that our body can feel this too in some way =) intelligency services have device that are able to detect what you type on your keyboard or replicate a screen at like 100 metter, using magnetic interference etc aka tempest system etc

Don't forget the two elements of the word electromagnetism. Electricity. We are made up mostly of water which is a conductor. And magnetism which affects metals. We have iron, magnesium, and other metals in our bodies as well. So of course it effects us.

and regular walls and stones offer poor magnetic isolation =)

pure water is not a good conductor, but as is it a good solvant lots of particules an ion generally come into it that make the water conductor, but pure distilled h20 water is not a good conductor =) but well also cell of our body are somewhat polarised, and nerve signals is electricity, but logically, magnetic field would only create a measurable impact on metalic things, but i guess there are impac on other things too even if it is tiny =)

Take some anatomy and physiology classes and chemistry and biology. We aren't made of pure anything.

in a atom level, it is linked with the 'weak force' and it come with electron layers energy level, electron can go upward and downard throught layer, creating or costing energy, and when an atoms get too much energy, and all electron layers are full, it emit photons in different frequencies, it is the principle of restistor and why electronic device are genereally hot and why electric lights are hot, because it is energy that come out in several frequencies including infrared which carry the heat =) and when an atom received energy it also alter the electron layers state, it like this that chlorophile work in using sun light, by alterating electronic stuff and doing some chemical to synthetise the amidon and glucose from what it find in the soil =)

yes in the body i doubt there is pure water, the water is used to carry other things and the body is quite a good conductor =)

pure water is really hard to find =) there is not pure water in nature =) you can obtain it with distillation or maybe some more complex mechanism
