Thank thee* Indigo Dog for the acknowledgement* I am merely a vessel of co-creative thoughts and actions to being the most positive, hopeful spirit that I am able to be NOW* As I also feel you are the same* Please read my last post on the thread "Great Algorithms"?(forgotten the exact name for this thread, I apologize) begun by Timberline...in order to better assess where it is that I am currently focused in my life towards connecting this great web of life*and change*
Blessed Be~

It seems contradictory to what your site is claiming to do, find ways to enlightenment. Either you are a master of irony or I'm way over thinking this one.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for the spiritual wrestling match. That was fun.

Sorry for not responding sooner but I do not frequent here often. The 10 Steps you are speaking of were written by a Ms. Ozwald and, although I do not believe she meant it to become a sort of rigid map towards attaining the state of enlightenment, indeed this is how it may come across. This is how many of the consciousness-shifting musings usually morph over time, through misperception of those of a different consciousness calibration. When I posted that in 2006, I did not mean for it to be a sort of "You must to these things in order to attain enlightenment" since this is preposterous. Rather, I posted it as a wonderful list of things that will point an individual towards the state of consciousness they must become in order for then to be able to put the key in the door to enlightenment and unlock it, but still keep it closed until the door to enlightenment is opened by the inhabitant of the house, not by that individual. In this respect, one cannot become enlightened by trying to become enlightened. By enlightenment, we are speaking of the state of being, not the feeling. These steps, as I see them, facilitate the creation of a position of awareness that is then able to make way to the way to enlightenment.

At first I read it looking for material to post in the Fake Indigo Broadcast but, I liked it so much I decided to create an entire thread to help bring Enlightenment to the few of us with short attention spans.
Step 1. Make friends with your Higher Self.
Step 2. Set a Positive Intention for your life.
Step 3. Accept your dark side and your light.
Step 4. Void your karma by Forgiveness and Renewal.
Step 5. Pray for humanity, send light out to humanity.
Step 6. Positive Intention + Action, get out there and trust the perfect synchrony of the universe.
Step 7. Practice healing yourself.
Step 8. Be aware of yourself as a changed person.
Good luck everyone and don't rush.

Indie doggie dog,
honestly...thanks. That was just swell, I need to have someone break things down for me, say could you just follow me around through my life and do that please?
I read this thread 3 times and then started to write things down so I wouldn't forget, son comes in sees me and says, ya know you can just print that......
*hits head* (i could have had a V-8).
Just one question...after I do all this and reach enlightenment ...do I get my brain back or what?
And the last comment is the hardest...don't rush, you said.
That is so hard for me, when I realize that I am going through something, man I want to get through it and get it over and get on to the next thing. It's a big stumbling block that I put in my own way so I appreciate the reminder.
Thanks again doggie

Hi Fred, I wish we could all do a quick course on enlightenment and change the world permanently. That is truly unattainable because of all the world's distractions.
The real beauty behind the simple steps is the easy access to any of the steps at any time. I look at it this way. Some times when I am sweeping the floor I have to take a couple of passes at it to get it clean. Not only do I sweep it up today, but I will probably have to sweep it up again in a few days.
Life tracks in all kinds of dirt into our lives. Enlightenment is the moment you have where the slate is clean. Distractions will dirty it up again. So each step is revisited every time you need to clear away the grime of living.
It's a life long commitment to keep sweeping.
