A Smelly Christmas Incident

(Rated R) lol...I'm almost afraid to post this on IS, it contains such big IS-NoNo it seems. Figured the best I can do is post it on my blog. Anyways...
German tradition has it that we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve; we have a nice early dinner, play with the children, and open up presents once it gets dark outside. So far, so good.
Now today we did the same, we had "dinner" at 3.30pm; after we were done my hub took the kids to park so I could get everything ready (my kids still think Santa is real). Since it only took a few minutes to put everything under the tree and tidy up, I thought 4.20 is a perfect time to have a smoke and relax
. I picked up some today and figured it would be a good time to put in in the oven so it would dry out a bit more; so I did. In the meantime I wanted to smoke (my hub doesn't care for the smell in the house so I have to go certain places that contain it a bit), however, once I got to my "place" I realized I had no papers. I grabbed my stuff and took off to the store...forgot all about my oven-project. Imagine the smell when I arrived back at the house 20min. later
; good but intense.
Merry Christmas to you all![]()
