Learning - cui bono?

One hears people, especially those teaching fringe beliefs, stating that the first step is to "educate yourself," usually by buying that teacher's books. Where in those books is the next step? Maybe it's there but I have never found it.

    I dont think one gets much out of a book unless one is really resonating to it and wanting to try whatever it is suggesting.

    A book is often a trigger for other things.. it can tell one in what direction one wants to head next or awaken one to something. If no resonance to it.. it takes one nowhere.

    Always ask yourself.. do I feel in my heart Im meant to read this.
