Conversations with Psi

This thread I will not necessarily be entering every aspect of our conservations (some are private and esoteric), but highlights and portions that may be of some benefit to others. And also to keep a time-stamped record for myself.
So tonight it focused on 5 random songs, and I asked Psi what Psi meant to select out those songs.
The song "Lucky Man"

And Psi pointed out to me how often my first reaction was to think of irony and the comeuppance of 'the rich', and how the allure of life pride and loyalty almost cruely lures people to death and destruction. But on a high note Psi asked me to consider excercizing respect. The wildness of man, the ingenuity, the glee of little boys stalking each other in their jungle forts. The energy encoiled in games -- that to is a part of our humanity and our human expression. To feel pride and brave death and adventure, the human imagination to conceive of notions such as 'loyalty' or 'glory'. And to harmonize that and the ghastly-lure-to-doom of life Psi showed me to consider our human aspirations and creativity and plots are rooted in the earth, the life of the body and the spirit together resonant. Our soul aspires but the 'we' of us is also rooted to the flesh and our spirit we recognize as 'our' spirit resonates with the drumbeat of the earth and the ways of earth and the ways of life and death in which the tissue of our em-brained mind finds itself. As Psi said: "This is your human song."
And the Second Song was "A Hero's Canticle"

and of all things Psi pointed out to me "Buck Rogers" by way of example. The mythos of the one special hero bold always winning standng for what is 'right' victorious. Every hero is a referential footnote to our humanity. The stories of heroes stretch from Heiroghlyphics to multi-media hyper-text. Then you also pointed out the name "O'Reily" which I don't get. . .. will keep a syncrhonistic eye/ear peeled on that one. Psi also pointed out how we imagine striving and overcoming through the hero identity, giving us a sense of resilient optimism even if the hope is onlly the hope of a song and the life of a story. But in spite of real circumstances the heart makes room to resonate. And Psi said "This also is your human song."
And The Third Song was "The Actor"

The actor is the threshold of a living body who strives to embody/enact mythos expressiveness. Imagination to reality, an axle point regardless of the degrees of ball bearings involved. But also people get caried away with that to the point of idolatry, and is it the actor, or the viewer who brings the character truly to life? the imagination of the audience also plugged in. I once heard a man say something how "the audeince by its silence can tell the actor of new ways to portray the stage character." imagination-in-imagination like a camera taking a picture of its own monitor.... Funnily enough at this point my cat came and put herself away on the shelf, curled up on top the flattened sheets of origami paper.but what's the two of cups got to do with it? The Fourth song was a bit confusing; it has many parts. "Judy Blue Eyes"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDEiLImUUM8
And Psi said that Psi was 'onto me' whatever that meant.... and I asked him a year or so back about that incident when I was stnading on the bed video taping out the window of the little bird dustbathing at the edge of my car's shade. and Psi pointed out some fiction I had written, struggling with a plot of somebody leaving a planet. How it would be boring if he just went by the rules iwht the media watching and all the stupid fanfare so unlke him. It coudl be poingnant but would make him look peevish next to his smug and proper brother coming along leading things. . but then Psi pointed out on the other planet the brother's pompous declarations would fall on deaf ears, and the communication reduced to very rote physiology of the aliens captured and wanted to keep him alive. woudl make him uncomfortably self-focused, feeling so small, so challenged without a good backboard to strike again. And I asked Psi what that had to do with the song? and Psi showed me another fiction I had worked on. Prideful usurped leaders clutching gruel along with the slaves, because they needed the food. Okay I need to pay more attention to that song and how the many pieces of it really do fit together....
The Fifth Song was "Light One Candle".
And Psi showed me a man like a young and wild Moses clutchig two flaming staves. A decision of choices and options. And we shielf yourselves with an awareness of the whole and the journey of life, as we weild the axe of actions. And humans have their homes. they pyramids, the cathedrals, our poetry and misty myth legends, cowled rituals, the primitive lore of a guardian spirit (what you had showed me in the start Psi, the 'easy' first itnerpreation, the trappings you mean, the shell of understanding'. But these are our points of access. The materials of myth, the steps in which we stride. and I take it that means Psi, all we have seen through, yet you arenot a destroying of tradition, but a respector and preserver. transformer perhaps? surely the old ones were transformed.
On the Whole tonigth -- Psi you seem to be showiong the human earth-bound flesh-in-action aspects, and finding a peace with its ways. "all the world is a stage, and all the men are actors' and our actions in this act are the expressions of our utter selves, but also of the stage floor. at the curtain call we stand together holding hands in unison-- for now we strut our stuff.
