  • anyone else get very tender/sore on top of head?

for many years now ive had this off and on occurrence of extreme tenderness, sensitivity, and soreness on the top, center of my head. its so strange. no headache accompanies this sensation. occasionally i get short bolts of *energy*, so to speak, which kind of shoots through it. its not extremely painful, but painful enough for me to not be able to touch the spot very hard. No major, long lasting ailments have ever occurred from this, as far as I know. It'll be with me a few days, then leave. It's as if something is somewhat gently pushing down on the top of my skull. But again, no headache, none of the traditional headache symptoms.

so, anyone else have this issue as well?

it doesnt come carrying headache symptoms. its just a sudden tenderness, as if ive been hit on the head with a hammer or something. not that intense, but same general sensation.

possibly related to stress, overthinking, but doesnt always come during times of stress/tiredness.

perhaps a chakric link? I do occasionally get this.. I would describe it as a shock-like feeling - not excruciating pain.. but a sharper type of pain... mine doesn't tend to last the entire time for a few days.. but it can wax and wane for that period of time...

depending on the location that it enters/focuses.. you might want to look at the crown chakra and see where you might be having a disconnect there...

I've found that we tend to focus pain/illness/injury in locations where we have blocks or weakness in our nearby chakras. This is a reminder that we have work to do in that area...I think these are the more obvious reminders.. of course we frequently have lots of chakric work to do in lots of areas... this just is the most pertinent.

        be well.

i think it's chakra related. I used to have tenderness and felt a kind of tension/pulling at my crown chakra but i've gotten it healed up since then.

like alotken said sometimes blocks in the lower chakras (especially 3rd eye) can cause problems higher up meaning more blockages for the crown.

i'd suggest spending some time aligning and balancing your chakras (there's some good meditations on google). especially concentrating on your 3rd eye try to get rid of as much fear and doubt as you can. also I think spending more energy focusing on your crown could be helpful as well. if you know a good energy worker they can probably heal that up a bit for you as well. good luck!

Sorry, I cannot recall the proper words for this.

This is a kundalini thing. Your kundalini is growing up through the top of your head.
            Growing a central horn.

This is a common occurrence with Tibetan monks.
One that I had living with me told me about the transformation,
however I do not remember the terms used.

It is beyond opening up your crown chakra.
Like, you open your crown chakra, then you open it up more.

There are meditations that concentrate on opening a hole in the top of the head.

Sorry I did not post. I had hoped the words would come back to me.

            Be well

lol, every once in a while, I experience something similar. Like a strange bruise would be there but there isn't a mark or bump. yet running the fingers over the top (even gently) creates the feeling just like you described.

There seems to be many phenomena like this but because they are so infrequent I forget about them until they happen again.

raises hand... there was a time I said to my dad my hair felt like it was starting to feel pain too, and he said I was just going funny in the head *blush*

But really, sometimes my hair feels pain, mad as it sounds... are humans evolving to having antennas? *grins*

well the hair is used by the body to collect qi from the environment according to yogic sources so I guess once you develop a high enough sensitivity you can sense your hair. It can't be dead if you can collect energy with it. Mine seems to have an effect on my static charge too

you feeling as thought some part of your experience is wrong is the human condition from a backwards society built on corruption and praising of the intellect, rather than the divine intelligence of the soul.
