Begin with slow breathing exercise, calm your mind and your body. It is easiest to do this exercise laying completely flat or standing vertically. Once you have positioned yourself comfortably start by identifying the chakras.
Start from the top of your skull with the Crown chakra. Identify it, feel the energy flowing from this space. Imagine the rays of lights emanating from this spot. Feel the heat from the chakra and remember the meanging. Think of what the Crown chakra does and why it is important.
After you have contemplated this chakra for a few moments, move onto the Third Eye chakra. Imagine an eye formed in the middle of your fore head. Imagine this eye opening and the violet light emanating from it. While you are visualizing this, remind yourself why the third eye is important and what it serves.
Move onto each chakra in this fashion. Make sure to spend a few moments reflecting on the importance of each chakra and why they are needed for the body. Move down to the throat chakra, reflecting about the ability to communicate and why it is important. Spend time thinking about the Heart chakra; think about your emotions and why they are important.
Continuing down to the Solar plexus chakra and why it is important. Continuing downward we stop at the Sex chakra and lastly the Root chakra. After each chakra has been identified and reflected over, the next part of the exercise can begin. The importance of the first part is to identify yourself with in the chakras and know why each part of you is important to the rest.
Imagine a golden ray starting at the crown charka. Visualize this line of golden energy travelling downward through each chakra. Imagine this line connecting each charka together. Visualize this line moving from the Crown, to the Third eye, to the throat to the heart to the solar plexus to the sex and finally to the root. Imagine this line and feel the energy connect each charka together as one.
Once you have your golden energy connecting each chakra reflect for a moment on why they need to be connected. Next take a silver ray of energy and start from the root chakra and work your way upwards. Again making sure to stop at each in turn and imagine them being connected together. Once this is completed you have two parallel rays of energy connecting each of your chakras.
Next visualize these rays forming a large circle, one to your left and one to your right. Circle the energy of the gold to your left, down and around you until it comes back into your crown chakra. Do this too with the silver thread, going up and around to the right until it comes back into your root chakra.
As you imagine these circles closing in on them selves, continue the path until both the gold and silver rays meet in the solar plexus chakra. Now connect the two circles into a large infinity symbol that encompasses your chakras and your entire body. Visualize the two rays of energy becoming one and that your chakras and you are one. Focus and reflect on what you are feeling. Feel your energy moving through your body and becoming balanced with itself.
This method is extremely helpful if a certain area is in pain. Channel your energy from the infinity symbol to any spot where you are in pain. Allow the energy to flow through you and balance you. Do this exercise as often as you would like, there is no way to over do this.
