If I was to name the kind of spiritual bondage I felt the Midwest was infuenced by it would be lethergy, drinking booze and scroogyness.

When I lived in the islands it was hedonism, selfishness and child abuse.

LOL ID! I have found midwesterners to be more thoughtful and introspective than west coasters... some of them do tend to drink ALOT!!! and then there is also the meth problem....
