    Re: the Galileans whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus said, "Do you think that they were worse sinners than the others because they suffered? No! Unless you repent, you too wil perish." He told a story: "A man had a fruitless tree planted in his garden. He wished to cut it down, but the gardener asked to till and fertilize it and give it one more year to produce fruit." On the Sabbath Jesus healed a crippled woman. The indignant Synagogue ruler told the people: "There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath." Jesus said "You hypocrites! you unbind your donkey on the sabbath to give it water, should not this woman be unbound on the Sabbath?"

    Then Jesus said: The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed which a man planted in his garden, and it grew into a tree, and the birds of the air perched in its branches. It is like yeast that a woman took and worked all through the dough."
