I've been feeling the need to get a crystal wand for healing recently, so I went out looking for one this weekend. I went to the New Age store and bought a blade of Optical Selenite, very cool, but I didn't find what I really wanted, a Lemurian crystal. The New Age store didn't have any so I went to the rock store nearby (the owner is into the metaphysical use of crystals).

I spotted several large wands and figured that at least one of the was a Lemurian. I asked about the largest one and sure enough...it's a Lemurian. So I looked at it a bit before asking to see if he had anything smaller (because a $300 crystal is waaaay out of my price range ^^;. He started pulling out a couple of other Lemurians and he put one in my right hand and as soon as it was there my hand started to shake. O_O I've never had that happen to me before and I have quite a few high energy crystals too. I didn't feel bad holding it or like it was too powerful for me, I just couldn't keep my hand still.

As I was watching my hand shake it occured to me that maybe I should hold it in my left hand since the left side of my body seems to be more sensitive (and more prone to attacks ). So I held it in my left hand, no shaking. Does anyone know of a possible explanation for that?

hahaha-- i had t post this sounds a little harry potter too me-lol-- im guessing that your right handed right? i think your left hand is weaker and the reason the shaking was because it equals out your left arm and the crystal- - it made sense to me-lol

im left handed, so i hold it in my left.. just like everything else.
I think it just depends on what hand/side of the body you use.
Your left side of your body is weaker because you don't use it as much (if you're right handed).
I feel the most power in my left hand, if I try to do something, even write with my right hand.. I go completley blank. I don't think right using my right hand, its weird.. So maybe it is like that with you. If i held a crystal with my right hand, i know i wouldn't feel as much power in it than i would my left.
