well I am studying a unit which includes Steiner schooling this semester and I put up some info on the alternative schooling methods under the information forum so check there. I haven't put everything Steiner yet (there is a summary there so far) but if you wanna subscribe to that one you will get an update as to when I do it.

ya that is true, have you heard of the Steiner Schools ?

they actually hold back children from reading and writing until the age of about 7 (when they have their adult teeth) as their metaphysical body isn't really built for this type of learning yet and according to Steiner it can do damage to learn to read and write too early.

my own bag is often quite heavy with books. Poor thing collapses before it's time usually.
