Moon as a flashlight

Scientists are eager to do a new project in regards to the moon.
They want to mount lots of mirrors onto it, claiming that it would be great for many things… one main thing would be, to make it like a giant flashlight to earth at night by reflecting the sun to us – meaning, in affect, possibly 24 hour sunlight… now, I don’t know about you… but to me, that seems like a real dumb ass idea.

Because I see that as a problem to add towards global warming… however, scientists claim it will have the reverse effect, I don’t see how!

The other good idea about this, according to scientists is, by using it as a flashlight to communicate with extraterrestrials, via a kind of flashlight Morse code.
So, this means they know there is life out there, obviously?

But what concerns me is the fact they want to put onto the mirrors flappable photovoltaic cells, which means that the mirrors will beam, microwaves back to earth!

I don’t know about you, but this all doesn’t sound like a great idea, in fact it sounds like the quickest way to kill our planet off… what are your views?

Yeah...sounds dodgy. If we had a second moon, this probably wouldn't be a problem. There's something about mirrors in space that I don't like. Don't know what it is...

24 hours of sunlight will really do a number on our pineal glands....

i'd prefer 24 hours of darkness

It's outrageous to think about something like that.

Although it's funny because the chances of happening are minimal. They can put whatever they want there, but the moon is constantly hit by things that wander through space, specially small things like golf balls.

The panels wouldn't last very long there.

24 hours of daytime, 365 days a year? noo wayyyyy. like dannii said, it would really screw up the animal kindgdom.
also, yeah, i see it as another way to burn up our planet or at least aid to the work of global warming.
i really dont get these people

Yep sounds like they are trying to kill us off agian in mass. They think of us as cockroaches that is why they taught us that roaches are nasty and wrong because they can live through anything; it is their divine right to live through anything and mother nature want them to survive.

I don't know which is worse: the actual idea, or the belief that they actually might do it!

There's no way that would ever happen!!!! And if it does I'll eat my hat

LOL! Who, pray tell, are these 'scientists' who want to make the moon into a giant flashlight?
