sixth day

so we are currently in the fifth night of the mayan calendar, which is actually the darkest part of the cycle. we are in the same pocket of the galaxy that jesus christ was crucified in- lots of crazy energy. we've been in fifth night since last november, and will be entering into sixth day come november.

do any of you have more information on what sixth day entails and the energies related to it? it seems that the sun is coming over the horizon, but i'd like some input!

Hehe, Greenguy would be best to join you in this thread. Yea I'm starting to see that sun at the very very edge of the horizon, can't wait til nov. til it's in the sky shining. Although some have said october will bring light as well. We shall see.

Well, I read up on everything I could google regarding the Mayan Baktun.
The date 2012 December that everyone likes to refer to as the End of the World, the dark rift in the milky way seems to be just another bookmark in the Mayan Calendar. They knew it was going to align that way and made note of it. I couldn't glean any specific historical predictions about the day. There is a lot of speculation and spiritual intuitions but no Mayan prophesy per Se. What surprised me was the continuation of the Mayan long count calendar for another 8 Katun or 3000 years to go until the calendar turns over.
This last katun is referred to as the Age of Forgetting. Something to think about.

here's what i've found so far:

Following the Fifth NIGHT large groups of people will in the Sixth DAY break away from hierarchical control and guided by their intuition find a path towards increased wholeness. This is when the hierarchies will really start to break down, probably largely in a chaotic way. Yet, this is exactly the kind of chaos that is needed for the recreation of an Enlightened world. Creativity is born out of chaos and if you think more deeply about it you realize that there is no linear way from today’s world to the Enlightened (2011). Instead the enlightened world can only emerge out of a series of transformative pulses, including periods of destruction, such as the Fifth NIGHT. The paradox to understand is that the very process that seems to break down the world economy and political dominance is also the one that paves the way for Enlightenment. The emergence of a fully enlightened collective state of consciousness can only thrive in a global consciousness that is balanced. This is because the imbalance that has been dominating humanity for some 5000 years has had its direct cause the dualist frame of consciousness that was ruling throughout this time.

"6th “Day” Is the Renaissance in each cycle. Sure enough, the 6th “Day” of the last cycle was right when the European Renaissance happened. We will see Human spirit become able to manifest whatever “Things” that they could desire. There will be no manufacturing or harvesting, buying or selling going on at all."

Last 6th “Day” 1952 – 1972 (Beatniks and then Flower Children, The Beatles, orbital satellites and global communication systems)

Word of caution too - the sixth night obviously precedes the sixth day and keep in mind what those are like too - usually with consequences from actions during it's day - IE 1972 to 1992

and before that 1224 to 1617 (I believe that would be the 'dark ages')

actually the renaissance lasted from roughly 1300 to 1600. roughly.

the dark ages started in the late 400's and went up to the beginning of the renaissance.
