Past Lives

Okay so I know that someone made a thread before that was on this subject and nobody replied, but I'm going to make a new thread about past lives in hopes that people will reply! I was just wondering if anyone on this site can remember some of their past lives or know anyone who can, if you can could you tell of some of your stories. I personally don't know if I have any past lives if I do I don't remember! It's called being reincarnated right? Why does reincarnation exist; what is it's purpose? Can human's be reincarnated into plant's or animal's?

I don't recall any of my past lives, but I've been told by a friend (after we met each other on the astral plane) that I looked older than he expected me to, as if I've had many past lives. Hmm. I do know a couple of friends who remember bits of their past lives, one is certain of who he was in his previous life and also of who he was in ancient Roman times. O_o

As for why we reincarnate, well, to learn and to grow! And past lives definitely could have been spent as animals or plants, I'm sure. *nodsnods*

I have my own inclinations on what sort of past lives I have had, I know for certain I was a druid priestess. I think I may have been a tree at one point, and I am pretty sure I have been birds in several of my lives. Once when I was getting a reading from someone I "saw" him dressed up like a muskateer, and he said he saw me like that as well, and also as a lady from the spainish court. He said I had some connections with plains Indians as well, and I recall "seeing" him dressed as an Indian shaman.
My mom says she has memories of a life we spent together during the civil war, when I was her mom, she said I liked to bake pies alot and that I died in a fire. I think I also have had a life during the middle ages, as a knight or something. I have also wondered about if I was ever in China back when they did that foot binding thing cause my feet are always aching, and I have high arches.

my own theory on reincarnation is that its a way of learning. we come here to learn and we keep returning until we learn all we were meant to learn, or for some of us we have dedicated ourselves to teaching others, and vowed to keep returning to teach those others until those others have learned all they have set out to learn.
most of my memories are fleeting flashes of faces and events, they usally don't make too much sense, or sometimes they come to me like dreams, I have done a regression once as well.

priest in aegypt, monk in medieval times several times, thief sometime (misudes by my mother), minister in france, gypsy in austria, pharmacist in england lately (poisoned by my wife), dr. at civil war killed with an knife in my heart, living at time of jesus in close area (killed with a lance), judge in sevilla, spain around 1500, administrator in the vatican around 800-900, what else?, native in africa killed by my tribe,.........

I can't solidly recall any past lives. I do have an abstract memory of the process between lives and being upset with the limitations of the infant body. My childhood was packed in general with mystical dreams, experiences and encounters with various deities.

Too bad most of these are cloaked and foggy now that I'm interested in this sort of stuff.

Hi

I know of two past lives. I have found six other people all spread out through the country, with one in England, who remember their past lives too. We were all close friends. I don't really want to go into it too much because I'm not comfortable talking about it just yet.
I remember just about everything in both lives....sort of a punishment at times!
I will say that we fought in a war in both lifetimes and both together. between two nations that basically began before I was born and went on after I died.
As much as it was a hard life it was a great life. I sort of miss it a bit.

According to my mother in this lifetime I was always different, born an old soul...and even old souls think I'm old compared to them.
When I was 14 I came way too close to a bolt of lightning. It didn't strike me, but I got the shock from it. I was out for at least a minute according to my parents. I know I saw the other side, I could feel it, and ever since the connection has never broken. The lights never left and I see them everywhere. (I'm a freak) After that my memories just came through to me whether I wanted it to or not. My name in the past is the same as my name for this web site, A'Vyn.

I have been a druid, I have been royalty in Europe and Egypt, I have been a Native American, I lived in Lumerian times, and I believe I have lived many lives with the different clans of the UK. Most of my memories and connections to tend to be with roles of some stature, most of my lives have been with the nobility or religous leaders.

I know I have checked out my past live. Finding other people made it a bit more solid for me. I wasn't sure what was going on at the time. Anyway 10 years later I found the evidence I needed. I screamed....showed my mother it and she stopped thinking there was something wrong with me. I was off by one letter with my old name, but everything I said that I was and did was actually right there in old texts. Just goes to show you that patience is a virtue!

I remember two of my past names. I like Angela, also have always felt this is my last life here. I don't actually feel I had to come this time, but I think I came back to help, rather reluctantly.

The reason I was searching is that women give me some sort of hard time in this life, I had the feeling the reason is beyond this life and I got the answer that I was poisoned by my wife in my last life because I was too flirtatious. That was supposed to be in London in victorian time. Have to say that I love England...The medium told me that's the reason my belly sometimes felt burning and indeed it did...

Past lives are interesting, especially considering that we are all actualazY (that's my kitty typing!) actually multidimensional. So what seems like a past life is going on right now, parallel to our "current" one. We're also fragments of our God Presence...there's something like 144 of "us" running around in various dimensions, places and time zones. Whew! So...past lives are also sometimes a tuning into the akashic record. What seems to be us is part of us because we are part of the unified field of Humanity...but everyone knows there was just one Julius Caesar and one Cleopatra.

I've had glimpses into various past lives as a Native American, Italian countess, Cathar, Druid, Indian dancer, Atlantean, Lemurian...Egypt... been there, done that. Old soul. As Indigos, we're all old souls. Experienced and tested. We've been in many dimensions and universes and are experienced in bringing light energies to an evolving world.

It's not important to really focus on past lives. They are just another interesting part of the puzzle.

Past life regression...usually is guided imagery, meditation or sometimes hypnosis. The facilitator should be a qualified practitioner who can lead you through a series of scenes and questions. You respond by letting them know what is occurring, what you feel, see, smell, etc. Some people come up with very painful memories, other "lives" are simple and quiet. The counselor should be able to guide you skillfully through the painful parts as you are just observing, not participating. I had a couple sessions once locally. It is important to realize that the stories observed are more symbolic of what is going on in your subconscious and/or unconscious mind (mental body) and emotional body, i.e., regressed memories, etc. Some of it stems from genetic material that comes down through your blood line. Yes...you can experience what your ancestors did even though you weren't there... All trauma and experience has been impressed in the Akashic Records of your family, your race and this planet...as well as every other planet that the ancestors of humanity have lived upon, which is another story... and our holographic universe. :-)

i found out i was...
1.a friend of Jesus Christ (explains how i cried during Passion of the Christ tho im a moslem at this life right now)
2.a monk..buddhist monk (explains my love for meditation)
3.a woman who died of a plague (explains how i know how to listen to a girl..lol)
4.a messenger..roman times..(gotta love those romans)

and still trying to see the rest,if i have some left..lol

I can't even remember when I was 2 years old in this life, never mind anything the life I may have had before that.

I'd love to do some sort of past-life-regression hypnosis of whatever it is to find out though.
