OK Blue. Lol.
Everybody sleeps.
For those of you who care for children, you may know that this is a popular book for the potty-training 2-3 year olds. A book that gets kids used to the idea.
I think actually there is a deeper message in the book. Everybody poops from the elephant to the catapillar. We are all alike, sharing a common experience. To me its a unity message.
So here is a challenge. What are some of the other experiences we share with our fellow humans and even animals that can we remind us that we are all one? What are your thoughts on unity through poop?
OK Blue. Lol.

"If I distrust the human being, then I must cram her with information of my own choosing lest she go her own mistake way. But if I trust the capacity of the human individual for developing, then I can provide her with many opportunities and permit her to choose her own way and her own directions in learning." - Rogers & Freiberg, 1994, p. 160

Um. Ok. That's very inspirational. When I was in 6th grade, I stole my mom's library card as a practical joke and put this book on hold for her. The library called and said that she had a book waiting for her (they didn't mention the title), so she went down to pick it up and had to stand there while the librarian found "everybody poops" and gave it to her. She was pretty mad, and I think she returned the book as soon as they gave it to her, lol.

That's just funny. If my kids did that I would consider it a compliment that they spent so much time just trying to tease me.![]()
