Hey everyone. I've just gotten over being sick, and while I still have the symptoms of a cold... I must say, I feel great. I feel as though my long lost creativity has returned. Everything in my world suddenly seemed different, seemed changed. This appeared in my eyes like they once were - that comfortable, homey sense that seems like a lost part of childhood. Has anyone else felt that way lately, or is it just me? I can feel it fading, which makes me sad... But I was just glad to experience it.

I do get a lot of those feelings of comfort and peace I used to when i was a child lately. In fact a lot of lost feeling are coming back. I stop what I'm doing and really take the time to make sure I experience them because my body just feels great while its happening and after. I think, for myself, the reason i'm having more of these is because I'm able to feel one emotion at a time which I couldn't since I was a kid. They are like mini massages from the inside.

I used to in the past feel them when I had a fever because, i think, when we are sick we sort of detach from our day to day stuff and that allows deeper things to flow in.

I detach to be alone with my emotions otherwise they start causing trouble shouting for my attention.

interesting. does that apply to every time it happens? I can see the connection between emotional wellness and detox. Is it possible that the emotional wellness brings on the detox? Although it makes sense it would work both ways.

I don't think so, I suppose it depends how toxic we are and how much of a cleanse we get.

Ooh... I just realized that I drank a crap load of water over the weekend, much more than I usually ever do.

Perhaps that detoxed me.

Standing outside in a hurricane sounds like fun. It kinda almost makes me wish I was back home when that happened. Almost, but not quite Germany is much more fun at the moment.
