    Can you heal yourself?

This ad goes away when you register.
When you get headaches or any other kind of pain, no matter what technique you use, can you, by thought and will, relieve or stop that pain?
I've found that it always works pretty good for me. I usually take around 10 minutes to do it. Occasionally it will take a little longer. I just lay or sit down, close my eyes and imagine this flux of bright white light and energy circulating in the damaged area and healing it. And it works! It actually works faster and sometimes better than medication for me. I've talked to people about it and asked them to try to do the same but they say they can't do it. I think anyone is capable of it. So, what could be blocking them?

I've personally never really gotten into healing. Don't know why, it just dosen't interest me too much. I do know that I can clear up headaches and stress by meditating and clearing up my mind after a hard day, but I've never intentionally tried to heal any sort of ailment.

? Been Told a many a color- don't really know for sure.
I think like with any gifts... some of us are stronger with one or others... I am a healer type- and I know that's my job. So yes, I have been able to heal myself and others (depending on my concentration actually- I found it's easier to heal others than myself)...

Hello All, I am thinking that this is not a yes or no answer. I have a few thoughts but I am about to go out, but I shall return and write my thoughts.

    Blessings to all.

The quiz says indigo, but a photo taken in 1999 says white with rainbow edges.
I'd have to agree that this isn't a simple yes or no. I believe there are some things we can do to heal ourselves, but most things require outside help.

Most of us (an I mean in general to human beings...) have the ability in our physical bodies to heal most minor injuries. Many of us have in our minds the ability to heal small mental injuries. But larger ones may require (gasp) professional help.

Hi all, it is Marie again. I just had a thought re "healing ourselves" -How do we know if we are really healing ourselves when we are able to stop ourselves from feeling pain? The mind is an amazing thing and although I believe that there are times when we can heal ourselves, I also believe that we can also stop ourselves from feeling pain-in which case a person would not actually be haeling themselves-just covering up the pain which makes me wonder if that is a good thing. They say that pain is there for a reason-to help us investigate what is wrong with our body. I am thinking that once we have identified what is wrong with our bodies then it would be good to do self healing. One way that I do self healing is by knowing what food to eat when I am feeling run down-I do this through intuition and also by observing how my body responds to specific food.

If someone has got serious pain in their body, I would check it out medically, to rule out anything serious, but I at the same time would work on clearing my aura, as problems usually begin in the chakra/aura system first, then lead to the physical body. I think it is about balancing between the 2.

Hello everyone! This is Hasteyslug and I wonder if anyone has tried the bio-electronic blood purifier? I'm going to make one in the near future. I do believe anybody can make or buy one already assembled(cost is really high). I recommend checking it out on google search engine. You may find out it has been around for sometime.

I think I might, have stopped a little pain for a few people a few times, or at least made those people feel a little less pain... or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, I'm definitely not an experienced healer not like a bio-electronic blood purifier

    how I heal myself

I have recently been able to relieve my headachs on my own without drugs. heres how:

    1. I clear my mind of any thoughts

    2. (SOUNDS COOKY) think of an energy flowing over your head.....feel the energy....know it will heal you...accept the healing.

    3. this can take 3-5 minutes to do. but it works

I cannot seem to heal physical pain, but I am able to change my mindset to be better equipped to deal with it, so I suppose this is a kind of healing in itself. This also goes for mental anguish, if I see a pettern occurring in what is upsetting me, I can, mostly, switch it off and press the play button on a new perspective.

    Smile Healing Ourselves and Others

I have been practising healing for several years now. As well as directing energy through my hands, I have also developed the use of crystal wands (see website).

Anyone can learn to heal themselves or others to varying degrees of ability - in the same way that anyone can learn to play in instrument. Some people of course become more proficient than others, but everyone can enjoy some positive results.

It is worth mentioning that the origins of personal illness can be quite diverse. It is also worth mentioning that we can use illness as a 'legitimate' means to avoiding an activity or confronting an aspect of life! Be careful how you portray illness to your children. Do not allow illness to become a means of gaining attention for a seamingly unrelated emotional difficulty.

It is amazing what energy we have at our disposal. If I could encourage people to heal themselves, I would suggest 'playing' at it a bit to begin with. Imagine universal energy and light travelling through you to the area of injury. Imagine how the energy is increasing your ability to recover from the injury or ailment. Focus your attention through breathing: in with the energy entering your body; out as you send it to where it is needed.

If you become interested in light tools, such as wands, you will come to discover healing properties that go beyond your hand healing potential. Crystal wands are particularly good at disolving aches in joints and muscles, freeing trapped energy in meridian paths, and revitalising organic cells.

Absolutely yes without a doubt I can heal myself therefore healing others as well.
The proof would be in physical open wound injury such as :
I sliced my finger with a knife while cutting an orange, directed healing to it and watched it disappear.
That is one of many many instances.
I also teach energy healing with horses. I direct this teaching/healing toward autistic, add, adhd, fetal alcohol, and aspergers children and young adults and other commonly misdiagnosed Indigo and Crystal children.

I believe we can heal ourselves. You need very strong belief though.

I think its easier to do it for others.

I got together several people from different boards and together we shrunk a throat tumour in my friend so she could have it removed.

Marie, I agree with you about relieving pain, but not the cause.

If you visualise the cause you can treat it, say by, changing the colour you see it as to one you believe it should be, or sending in insects to eat it away or whatever.

    Loving you all

Thinking about what you say about strong belief, Mia... I have found that as you see continued positive results of your healing, either on yourself or with others, you start to 'know' that it is working. When you reach the point of knowing, you no longer have to believe. When you believe something, you are also leaving room for doubt. When you know something, there is no room for doubt. This isn't meant to sound arrogant. It's not about boasting to anyone. It's a bit like when a normally healthy person stands up from sitting in a chair - there is absolutely no doubt that you will stand up. If you only believed that you might stand up, you could introduce sufficient doubt to block the process.

There are times when practising healing can appear to show little improvement on a condition. This should never leave anyone disheartened. Sometimes there are circumstances and other factors whereby it is not appropriate for a recovery in the the terms that one might imagine. There are also many times when someone recovers and it is not possible to conclusively say that any particular treatment or healing was responsible. I have always felt that if someone recovers, that is what is important - not that anyone was individually responsible.

Pain is a good way for the body to draw attention to a problem or prevent the problem getting worse by continued practice of whatever is causing the problem. It is quite okay to tell the mind that you acknowledge the pain and have received the message, but there is no reason to keep the pain, once you have an awareness and can work towards discovering the cause.

Visualisation can be a strong treatment to cures. I think it was Matthew Manning (a healer in the south east of England) who once related a story about a boy with cancer who imagined a railway track inside him, going to the cancer coal face. The cancer was chipped away and placed in little coal trucks and taken away, out of his body. This sort of personal imagination can be very powerful and also shows that you are taking some joint responsibility for your own recovery.
May the Light be with you.
