Is there secret lesson in Oct. 14th?

I believe something like what was predicted for October 14th is still possible, but what if, what if, it never really does happen in our lifetime.

What can we learn from this experience?
Why did the predictions even occur?

I was thinking about this on my way home tonight.We all know how desperate the human race is for some type of drastic change.

Well the message is right there in front of our faces.
Say yes.....Let go of our fears
If we want a 2,000 mile extraterrestrial ship to appear.....Say yes
If you want the humans to realise their galactic identity, If you want humans to unify and accept each other as members of one planetary nation....Say yes

This is a metaphor for life.
If you want to live your life freely then just say the word or as those Bashar channelings say "trust life".If you want those amazing changes on the horizon to happen "say yes" and "trust life". Stop desiring and start living. If you want the wars to end, say yes. Send that message out. If you want a world independant of currency and economic slavery.....SAY YES!!! I hope you get me. I know I am being redundant, but it is a simple straight forward message if you want what you think is impossible to happen....say the word. Life is just a race to realize who you really are and always were. So find the most direct route to the destination.

I know it seems the human race is awakening to the idea that there is something bigger out there than our small little tiny planet. While things on this rock in the middle of nowhere are important to us they may not be important to other beings that exist in this dimension (space / time), or other relaties or other dimension.

But the realisation is that people are aware that there is more to us than the 5 senses that we use to determine how the world works. People are yelling out for a change something they can connect to spiritually. I believe we have lost contact with

I believe people feel so alone and scare, they know there is something bigger out there but they dont know what it is, it is a pity some people realise this and prey on the people who are so confused in this life.

All I can say is that live life to the fullest, enjoy every day as it is your last (i know it is a cliche). If you are lost and scared, alone, then make some friendships with people in here maybe, just maybe they feel like you and you never know you may not feel so alone.

Remember one thing though. We are never truly alone, look inside and you will find all the love you need and you will never been alone again.

Wow there are a lot of Oct. 14th related threads springing up on this board. Anyhow, in answer to your questions, I was thinking all this over myself last night and early this morning. I was finally moved to put my partial interpenetration of all this into a video, which I promptly stuck up on You Tube, hoping to defuse some of the anger over this so called let down. The way look at it is that it is not a let down really, so much as a learning opportunity for humanity. i think we have learned, first and foremost, how much we really do want te world to change. I think there was a time, not too long ago when most people began to think the world was in trouble, but they could do nothing, thus why think about it. They heard of this prediction, thought of how it would save us all from ourselves,and dared to think of a better world. Now that they have not made themselves visible as promised, maybe we will still all want change enough to make change happen. The whole prediction happened to make us realize just how wonderful the world could be.

I remember watching a documentary on the life of John Lennon. He was talking about how he first met Yoko and what had attracted him and made him want to be with her. He said that he had gone to an art exhibit and one of her pieces was a tall ladder that you had to climb to the top of and read what was written on the ceiling, He said she had simply the word "YES" written there. He knew he said that she was the one for him from that day.

The way I see it is that people can leak anything they want on the net and naive minds can believe whatever they want. I personally believe that a superior race or federation of light is not gona come here with a spaceship, and if they do then I seriously doubt they're gona announce it. I think we should stop waiting for aliens to save us and do it on our own. Besides, if you were an alien of a high intelligence and wanted to save a race that was hostile and fighting a war against themselves because of terriritory and race, would you pull up in a spaceship? I would'nt, the US has hijacked so many aliens in the past, why would they come back. This planet has to achieve equilibrium first. All the problems are on a personal level.

Well I would hope so, but this is not about her or the gfol. I wrote this thread to address the idea of "saying yes" as a major aspect of the whole scenario. The idea, I think, in the bigger picture, is a more important point than if we get to see light ships.

Yeah for sure, its just that she orignated the whole thing and people attached all their own unrealistic expectations. People are still attached to that idea that they are or are not going to get to see UFO's and its ridiculous.

She said in the message though that "Maybe this means we have to save ourselves." which is a pretty important point and valid to this thread.

It is the fervor created by this Oct. 14th thing, that so many people invested this energy into the idea that aliens were coming. When as you said, how does this same excitement and optimism not get transferred into everything in life?
