I love that you brought that up. I have done Reiki in an area of land, where a murder occured. I've continued to send energy there over the years. Everything is energy and the vibration can be elevated.
I came across an interesting concept in a book called Beginner's Guide to Reiki, Mastering the Healing Touch by, David F. Vennelles.
I quote from his book.
" Events that occurred long ago may also need Reiki. You can help just by being in these places. Reiki can work beyond the framework of time and space to heal, dispel, and transmute negative actions or experiences.
If we find ourselves in a place that needs Reiki, we will feel it begin to flow through us quite naturally."
I bring this up to share the idea that we can "heal" a place with our healing energy. I'm not sure why I never thought of this before. Many times I've passed over a spot and felt a cold chill and the feeling of dread. I could have made the intention to send healing light to the place to make it more positive, to heal the traumatic negative energy trapped there.
The author recommends staying in the area until you feel that your Reiki energy has done it's job. if you are really uncomfortable you can send Reiki to the space and leave, letting it heal over time.
So many members have troubles with hauntings and negative residual energies. This may be a wonderful way to heal and clear a space.
You get what you think about whether you want it or not.

I have experienced these places, these are amplified around natural geopathic stress points but certain objects can become infused with these energies, the sea is sometimes the only solution for these objects, usually it's very bad acts that imprint such negative energy on objects like this, things like rape and murder or the two together

I have done, do do this, although I do not practice reiki. My first experience was at a castle ruin in Wales I felt all the emotions in different parts of the castle and I prayed for all emotional ties and karma to be cut. When reading the details of what had happened there they all linked up - the place where the castle was attacked felt like a huge rush of energy that almost lifted me of the ground and the stresses of the people were felt.
I will always do this now if I feel anything
I really appreciate everyone sharing. This whole concept of being a source of healing energy, just by being present in a space is a revolutionary concept for me. I'm quite excited about it
I feel like energy healers could be instrumental is transforming the broken and damaged places of the world by their very existence. How amazing!

I was in someone's house once, in the hallway and I felt edgy there even though my friend was close. He said someone had died there, I think violently. He is a psychic and kept clearing.
I'm very careful with trying to select living spaces, even with entirely new spaces conflicts during the building process can occur and settle. Sometimes I can't clear completely, but the area then feels "flat," no longer negative, but not positive either--can still feel it's different.
There's a lot to be said for feng shui, just changing the space to shift the energy, even if just for psychological effect.
I don't typically use reiki. I'm not sure why, though a friend did so in our house for us before I knew some clearing techniques. Imagining light filling all spaces helps.
Sometimes I want to sneak in and heal places that aren't really mine to heal but where I have to spend time. Do you ever feel this way?
ive lived at one of these places. its not very conforting. there were many neggitive engeries and things beyond this relm.
I've never really thought about it that way. I just figured that if I had to spend time in a certain area it automatically came under my reiki jurisdiction.
For instance. I had to go to the doctors for a check up and had to wait in the waiting room( awful, depressing place,) so I just sat there sending out positive vibes. I pictured the bubble of light that I had around me expand to encompass the whole room.
The little kid with the runny nose stopped whining. The stressed out young mother began to hum to her baby and the irritated truck driver even squeaked out a smile.
IDK some places are so deeply dark that it might take more time or more people concentrating on it to transform the energy there.

I've done this too--I love watching other people do it, those who can transform everyone's moods almost instantly.

This topic really touches my heart, as a lot of the energy work I end up doing is healing towards specific troubled places. The nature of a negative location seems to pull at me, and I tend to end up consciously "filtering" the space around me. It's deeply fulfilling.
Also, it's comforting to know that those who might end up visiting this location in the future may benefit from the lighter environment, and in turn, consciously or subconsciously, contribute their own positive energies to the spot.
Thank you for sharing this.
Okay, I've been reluctant to say this about a specific place but here it is. At one place where I've had to have 4 procedures--you can feel the residual fear in the room from hundreds of other patients. As soon as you move to one spot, there it is, and it socks me in the stomach and I can't block at that point because I physically can't. It took me a couple of times to realize it wasn't me and I made a joke the last time and the dr. turned music on. But jeez, that's not healthy for people. They need to feng shui or put bowls of salt there and empty them out or something. I didn't say that but I felt like I should. At least I'm aware--but the fact that *everyone* tells them they feel panicky at that one particular place should indicate the scent of fear/adrenaline is getting out of hand.
Jeez. Sounds a little more than just some residual fear energy. There might be a negative elemental feeding off the fear in that place. Getting the establishment to let you do a cleansing would be great. If not, you could walk the entire building outside. Shield yourself more intensely if you can. Yikes.

Seriously, I thought about taking in a crystal with me but didn't see how that would fly since they'd figure it out. I did experience ghosts in that room the first time I was there (trying to get me to "cross over," don't think so). It is a newer building and other places feel pretty clear. Hmm.
I don't feel scared there anymore, but I feel the fear in a very specific spot.
Thank you! Is there any group that focuses healing energies on countries that are at war or in poverty? Some examples in my mind would be palestine vs. isreal, iraq, africa, thailand? Pakistan vs. India?
