Finding connection to inner self or source or...

Hello There!

I was just wondering, if maybe some of you have made the same experience.
For quite some time now I have this feeling, that I need to connect with an inner self, or a kind of source or something, a power I can reach from within. I see it as a stream of engery full of creativity, love, wisdom and so on. And I have this feeling, that the moment I manage to connect with that source I will be able to write better poetry, paint better paintings and get more wisdom and such.
It's already there, I can feel it and somehow it pushes from the inside but somehow I can't get there, it's as if there is something blocking me from taking this step.
I hope you understand what I try to say here and that it doesn't sound too weird, lol.
Have some of you felt the same? Or feel the same?
I don't understand what that blockage in me could be and how to get rid of it.

I get a sense of this too. But, I can't help thinking its me who's holding this back. I won't let go of past negative sides of my persona, which I've grown past. They're like a comfort blanket to me.

I just need to look forward, let go of the past and be more confident. Then the energy will begin to flow. Keep telling myself "Just be brave, go with it."

I guess I'm still a bit scared of what I could unlease.

I have had this also and mother raven told me it was something i forgot what it was but osmeone else said its like a astral projection MR could of said that it was an AP to but ye i have had it and have managed to seperate but not fully disengage the feeling fully it was still connected

Hello lalitalily. I too have felt the same and wondered if I had blockages of some sort, whether that be from a past life or an energetic imprint or implant. One of my friends recommended that I find a healer whom I felt comfortable with and whom works with energy.

I had a free mini-session with David Isaacson, a Spiritual Energetic Healer-Shaman, from the Spirit Portal organisation (see website below if you like). The healing session definitely did something positive for me because I felt not only my mind going calm and still, but my whole body went still. It felt like I was like frozen or suspended in time, or like my physical self was in no-space, and my higher self was just being there with complete detachment from 3-D realities. I could sense my Higher Self as a white light for a few seconds also. After the half hour session I felt refreshed and lighter in spirit, i.e. not so worried and tense about my own decisions and future, yet knew that I still had some work to do. David gives a free consultation, obligation free, by email. In my consultation he told me that I need to surrender to my Higher Self. I prefer the expression/term "I need to have faith in my Higher Self". Faith first, surrender after, haha. Anyway, of course, I'm not telling you to use David's services, I'm just advising you that I have had a consultation and a session with David and I found him to be very helpful.

Since my mini session I have not returned to David yet to remove remaining energy blockages, mainly because of financial constraints, plus I actually got help from someone in this forum to rid myself of past life karmic influences which were holding me back alot. Understanding what I had been through in that past life resulted in a huge weight of guilt being taken off me, allowing me to be my true self more. I would still like to have further sessions with David.

So, my suggestions are that if you feel such is "right" for you, that you look around for someone whom can work with energy blockages, whom you resonate with, and/or find someone whom can look at past life influences.

If you are interested in looking to see if any past life karmic effects are blocking you from connecting more to your Higher Self, I suggest you post in the Questions/Answers section on this forum asking if anyone knows someone reliable whom can look at past life influences, or if there is an Indigo Society member whom can do a reading for you.

Yes, I am still not sure if it's just fear of what I would unleash, like Helen said, or if it is something that is going deeper. Like past lives. I never thought of that!

maybe it can easily be fear..

u dont know who or what or how strong is that inner self..u dont know what to expect,u dont know if it will cause changes in ur life when uve known this inner self.

regarding past life,that can happen too..but most of the time (and this is just from my experience with my clients),if theres unfinished business in ur past life,ur soul will want u to connect with it as soon as u can..not block u from knowing it..

id say just believe in the unknown,believing takes u a long way,especially believing in urself

I feel something like what your talking about. I believe there is capability's of the human mind that most people haven't developed. How much percentage of the brains do we use? Could i shut individual parts of the brain off and use other parts for different things. Like Seeing something in my head and putting it down on paper just the way i imagine it. Or physically doing something more accurate, almost perfectly how you felt it would turn out, but you try it again and your off. I test these things with everyday life. Some people call it confidence, some people would say its by being repetitive and your body then naturally does it like the saying practice makes perfect. I feel it's a skill you are developing and takes time to acquire. So tap in, level up, keep what you have found a secret, and use it for good things.

before i fall asleepi think itsmy head or my inner self who is very creative and artistic, always comes up with different versions ofmyself. Like me in different forms or mucsles andclothing, I HOPE its meand not some demon or another human sending this to me, sometimes i explore deeply and i see Colors sometimes. li know imnot fake, but i feel that feeling when i think of it because i project it, its projected doubt with that feeling. Im real and i like real and positive feelings, they attract me. other then that i feel fine nnaturally and positive and i feel source, but i feel as ifsource is my natrual energy,Butwhen i see it in other people,i See the source as its me, not as its everybody

Lalitalily......Personally I believe it's our own fear of failure .....to achieve our highest output....that's the block...simply

Often we restrain ourselves, as we hold the belief that we cant "measure-up".....to what? Our creativity is limitless, don't put boundaries down for yourself...instead....look to create something else outside of the "box"....believe in yourself and just go with the flow...the "flow" being that which is inside yourself - it almost feels like bubbles that are waiting to burst free of the restraints. Let it happen!
