    The IS Addiction

Isnt it amazing how addicting IS can actually be.

I mean the energy in some posts is enough to blow your socks off.

You also meet some really nice people also some a$$holes.

This ad goes away when you register.

Sometimes to me it seems as if IS is almost like a drug.

Indeed indeed, it is the power of internet forums... there is always something going on, and always potential energy to feed off or get excited by. Watch yourself!

Today is the first day in a long time that I have spent on IS in a good few months, and I'm really enjoying... but it is such a time-stealer! I've been sitting in my gym clothes for 2 hours now, my body is waiting for me to go to the gym and work off some of the Christmas fat, but my mind is captivated by the conversations here! ARGH!

    I know.

It is unfortunate that there is that feeling of needing to be here incase you miss something.

I am lucky I am here most days because job isnt too busy and free internet

I used to be like that too, but I'm taking a break from the working world for a moment...

It's funny though, because I always end up missing the big dramas anyway - it's like I have so kind of shield around me to protect me from them. I totally miss them, until someone points it out to me and then I have to back-read everything. Brilliant though, because it totally stops me from getting involved in the dramas emotionally... I can just go back through a read how ridiculous people are being and how personal they are taking everything! Cracks me up actually.

yes , well honnestly i always wished to find other ppl to speak about crazy theory, without them to be upset because it hurts their belief, or what is told on TV , or because you have to use a religious word to explain a thing in a way which do not correspond of they think of it etc to be honnest there is not a lot of place with as much ppl like this and linked with this kind of 'nature connection' or i don't know what it is something i looked for for a long time found some similar thing, but not really the same

i agree with hobby. normally i'm not into forums or chats, i grew out of those in middle school and the internet kind of got boring..
but there's something about IS that is truly engaging. addictive is a very good word for it... but if i feel too much about something, or someone steps on my toes, i will always go away for the rest of the evening or whatever and hang out with family or friends, forget the drama/discussions here and reconnect with the world. then i come back and feel much more balanced.

but my life is all about balance, so

lol, have you heard the story about the lady who said her coffee cup holder was broken?

The tech guy comes in says coffee cup holder ?

She goes yeah, the one that comes with the PC.

He goes, I don't know of a coffee cup holder that comes with the PC ?

then she proceeds to point to the open cdrom drive.

I'm addicted to IS too. The pretty colors.. the people.. the energy.

I'm on here 15 hours a day and this is the reason I am completely failing at life.

I'm off to attempt to do something productive now, will return in 3 minutes.

    Leaves fluttering before the wind;
    How to convey their splendor?
    I know this stone pagoda
    With my entire body,
And laugh at the changes of earthly life.
