The only problem with an IS graphic novel, is the inherent stagnancy that would occur. I think that a few shots of any of us on a compy typing away can only be so captivating. lol

But seriously, I'm in, I've never really collaborated on a comic before, but I do like to write on my own. Did you have anything specific in mind, Nuhlinga? Or are you just gonna be the ringleader?

I do have a basic idea how I would personally develope it,which I shall work on soon, but it's really about all those interested brainstorming ideas and see wot developes - the aim being to create an idea that has 'legs' and maybe pitch it to an above or underground Graphic Novel house or publish privately -with DF's permission, of course.

This sounds like fun. You might want to talk to a lawyer & sort out all the legal stuff first. With a website it may be complicated; obviously you don't want to be sued for libel.

It will be fun to see drawings. I would love to look like a Medieval or Byzantine Princess.

So, what I'm looking for is a premise.

I keep getting this image of these kids on their compys telling each other about random things...

Maybe we could have the IS squad, if there's trouble on the astral plane, there are a few of us who can help. Maybe some of us are rich and powerful and we have the resources to help others in a real life crisis.

I think that we could play with Sturbz mission. A few of us meet up in real life and plot assassinations?

Where are we gonna go with this? And do we have any artists signed up for the drawing portion? Cause I know that I am a writer, but I have issues when applying myself to drawing.

I will help. I already have 5 books i need to write. I might as well help in a group effort for my first. tbh I think those who want in should join under a club on here. Whoevers idea it was is the leader. ya dig babe. that way you know whos in and where the ideas come from and no one just lookin in from the looking glass can gab and interfere.

I think initially all the writers and artists should develope their own basic vision of an IS premise and post it as and when ready, maybe a seperate thread in the creativity forum should be created for viewing the ideas (whoever's ready to post first can decide). I think we'd need feed back from all who wish to provide it, as IS is about all who those who use the site. It's up to the artistes to be able to discern constructive criticism. Artistes should also note that being precious about ideas makes rejection bitter(this would be good exercise in non-attachment). I'm not into leadership but as a catalyst I'm prepared to keep an eye on proceedings and bow to democratic decisions. This project will last as long as there is an interest and participation and I suspect the initial creative burst will determine whether there's a ball to run with...

Your problem is going to be finding artists online. They are in high demand due to fanfiction & friends constantly requesting things.

Maybe we can add a fantasy spin to it. If there are legal problems, you can always make it an allegory.

Ideally the creatives should at least be members of this particular forum and the prob of an artist would be acute if we were to self publish. If we take a broad look at the Indigo phenomena it's time and boundary less, what is needed is a core concept that any writer or artist can produce ideas from. I suspect anyone involved will be asking themselves what is their perception of an Indigo. I think the title 'Indigo Society'would be copywrited but it's content and operation is open to imagination...the novel must tell the story of the Indigo.

I'll chip in my writing skills if I can feature as a villain. I like twisted plots, so perhaps at some point the Indigos can discover that they are actually puppets of an evil organization headed by the evil Reverend-turned-diabolical-dictator.

Can I be drawn like Dr. Cid from Final Fantasy XII? I actually look a bit like him, and he's one of my role models

(Pics forthcoming... I'm alarmed at how few pics there are of Dr. Cid on Google!)

I think this would look better for your character

lol oh no. i've been roped in.

i can help, but to be honest, i'm working on my own comic an trying not to fail at being comissioned, so if you're thinking actual pages.. yeahhh i can't invest too much time into it. but i can do character concepts and stuff like that.
