Hi Bohocanary! I'm not a Gypsy, but have had past live(s) as one. I don't think, however, being Romany has anything to do with being an Indigo. There are Indigos all over the planet, most of whom do not know who they are or where they came from or have any inkling of their missions. We are all old souls and have come to help the return of the Divine Feminine...which is part of the heritage of the Gypsy people and part of why they have been subjected to so much abuse over the past centuries. They and other ancient groups like the Maya, Native Americans and others have been challenged by the dominant male-oriented and so-called civilized society for many centuries, but now the pendalum is swinging towards the middle. Duality is over. The battle of the sexes is ending. The dark agenda is going down in flames, although many of its perpetrators do not seem aware of its demise. The planet is rising in vibration and the Divine Feminine energies are being reinstated. Much chaos has ensued and more will follow, so it is imperative to keep a calm center and allow change to flow around and through you.

I was told once by a wise woman that my mere presence in a group changed everyone around me. I have come here to anchor the new energies; as Indigos we have all come here to be system-busters. That is why it is so hard to categorize Indigos and to place them into predetermined holes. They naturally defy authority and serve to break down crystallized stagnant energies.

Rejoice in your heritage, Bohocanary. Beyond our ethnic backgrounds, we share our starry heritage as soul family. Be welcome, dear sister.

I come from a very spiritual family. My fathers grandmother was a Cherokee, very spiritual and wise, I've been told. My fathers side of the family is very unstable, but also very psychic. None of them are 'spiritual' in thier mindset, though. My father had a very high energy to him, people liked him. Very charismatic. He was unstable, though.

My mother's brother has an Indigo toddler at this time. Shes about three and is already playing games on the computer. I see myself in her all the time, seeing her explore, the curiosity and all. It's cool. She seems to notice me a lot, too.

My genetics are a bit strange compared to both parents. I'm the most pale of my sibblings, more slender, different facial structure, too. Terrible allergies, sensitive nervous system, bah. I notice most of us Indigos have a certain look, very familier. The familial genetics are altered or added to, somehow, I would guess.

I sometimes wonder if there are reasons that certain families are selected. Not so much ethnicity wise, more so in inherited spiritual attributes. Perhaps if the natural pre-existing energy body is already evolved to a certain point, it will handle the higher frequency better. Well, don't listen to me, I like to speculate...

I think indigos are natural wanderers - happiest while moving. That certainly is my feeling although I dont move constantly I dont like to be rooted in one place too long either.

I know what you mean Patryc, I tend to go one place do a job, either on a practical level or spiritually and get moved on to another place to do similar stuff, we always end up iat energy points, I sometimes think that we are joing the dots in some kind of energy field.

Yes, whether or not we have genetic gypsy blood, I think a lot of us are wanderers. The longest I have ever lived in one place in my adult life has been nine years. Most of the time I tend to move from place to place every three years. And I have moved a lot with jobs.

Right now I live near a huge volcano. A Power Point to be sure! We and other starseeds and Lightbearers are building an energy grid for the new Earth.

    Blessings, all.

indeed - working with the ley lines or geopathic stress points - for me mainly it's spiritual, the practical often is more of a guise - it's there and I do what I have to but ultimately there is a much bigger picture

    Hi all,
    More on family history.
I would describe my mother as spiritual but naive. A seeker but not a doer. She was raised Luthern. But in order to marry my father needed to raise us children as Catholic because my father was Catholic. We went to Catholic grade school. My Father on the other side, was all science and skeptic. Yet he believed in the power of the mind and will. Once he had a growth on his foot, he willed it to go away and it did. He also cut the tip of his finger off and "glued" it back on with Aloe Vera gel. It stayed on and he even had feeling in it. He had lung cancer and said that he would stay alive until every last dime of his annuity was paid out. (It was not transferable to my mother) He was on oxygen for 18 months and the docs said should have been dead, yet he remained until the last payment was made. His last words to me as he died were "I told you so". I smelled his cigarette smoke at my non-smoker home in Colorado (he lived and died in AZ) for about 6 months following his death. Our family did not talk much. We just "knew". Any fights we had were always related to my father's drinking. I think it was his way of numbing the pain of genius. He was an chemist, inventor, extremely compassionate (this also caused him great pain). When he drank the nastiness came out.
I have some healer tendency. Mostly with herbs. I have never been sick. It is only recently that I have become gluten intolerant.

    Hi Bohocanary

    Welcome to the site

I've always loved travelling and I'm at my happiest moving round and being outdoors. My parents are Polish, both are from farming backgrounds. My father came to England after the war and my mother met him while visiting her sister and settled in England. I have always been into spiritual things and members of my family in Poland used to read cards.

    Hi everybody

I see that a lot of you have good family background to develop yourselves in spiritual way. I am the one who didn't have that luck. I come from Christian family (traditional-if you know what I mean)and my father is a farmer (which may not be very important, but I think it is, at least in our country that says a lot about mentallity). And because of my rebellious and open-minded thinking, I was always a "black sheep" of the family and I still am. Because of that I often have a problem dealing with traditional thinking of my family, that means that we argue and "fight" every time, when I try to tell them about my vision and about my thinking. I really try to give love to them, but I don't think I do that, because of all negative atmosphere around arguing.

I wanna know, if I should stop doing that in that family circle of people and if anyone has the same problems?

    Let it shine!!

    Hi Imagician

I wouldn't say it's easy talking about spiritual things in my family. My older brother believes in proof about things before he believes in them. But, the worst conflicts I've had, have been with my mother who is a staunch Catholic, believing we should follow the faith without question. We've had some pretty nasty confrontations over the years and now I tend to avoid talking about anything to do with beliefs with her. My belief is that you should be open to what others might believe, as sometimes you find a missing piece in the puzzle of your life. I really hate the control side of people trying to force their beliefs on you.

    Hello Tazjma,
I noticed you had said that we have been subjected to abuse over centuries. My question is, does being an indigo have anything to do with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? I mean that of a extreme nature, being brought up as a child. It has been noted in many psychological books that people with that disorder to the extreme, possess many of the same qualities of an indigo.
That is what I thought it was all this time. I think a lot differently now that I know there are so many more like me, but I just wanted to know if you knew of any connection between the two. Maybe that is why we have come to do this because we need serious change? I am also Native American, and I have been using sage to calm these spirits in my dwelling. I have encountered a lot over the years but not this many at the same time. Any input on both PTSD and being indigo is appreciated no matter what you think. I like to hear all aspects of things. Thank you.
