For him to have seen himself as King give into sins, it is he who as king of Israel is meant by God to represent rightousness, but instead he fell into wickedness for a time as King. The King is the head of the justice system then.

Dream Walker, that is an interesting take, that the wickedness in place of righteousness is in part his self-reflection and his own short-comings. Both as to being righteous, and being able administer justice to the people? That would shed context on what was written previously about undertaking all the lofty projects and attaining all the goods and riches. thanks. Hadn't quite considered it on that level before.

look at the way our courts are run..
you make an oath to the bible stating you wont lie...
that is how powerful they believe this manipulation is..
where people wont think twice aout lieing if they are going to be
damned to a life in hell for eternity..

so, if they want respect...they can go get it from a damn preacher..
because i find there teachings full of sh*T
so they wont be getting any here..

You do not understand how much it hurts to hear you say these things! It hurts to be told to commit suicide because of your religion.
I created this topic because when I created the original one, I was very happy here. This thread is not going to way I intended it to. I should not feel this hurt and angry on a thread I created for an intelligant discussion.

I would rather discuss the Bible or Shakespeare or something important than chit-chat.

Comment: 12 some years ago, I read this and puzzled over it. It does not seem to fit the general afterlife-heaven-hell paradigm that people normally associate with the Bible (though in fact there is very little of that in the old testament). I asked God about it, and turned on the radio. On the radio was the song "Imagine"

those who are soo strongly controlled by this "God of Judgment"
are in fact going to bbe judged..

and
probably end up losing there minds...
so when i tell you to jump off a cliff..

Sturby, the reason why you cannot understand why awakened Indigos think this way is because you are not awakened yourself. Being Indigo doesn't mean you cannot believe in God and as a matter of fact when you are awakened by God you will then realize there is much more enlightment to be added to this spiritual belief. It is when you can keep a part of every religions and beliefs that you will truely awaken. So instead of bashing this thread, learn from it, filter out what you want to keep and what you cannot accept. Keep adding bits and pieces to your spiritual journey and one day you will see the light/ascension...Keep searching, you are still young and have a long road ahead of you to build a solid foundation for yourself. Take my words in consideration, I am only concerned for your future spiritual well being... Peace...out

Sturbz, I know how you feel. And, no, i am not christian, I am far from it. I do not follow any religion. I refuse to. But, hear me out...

Just because you do not like a religion, does not mean you have to bash those who follow it. It's a matter of respect. If they wish to believe it, that is their own business. All people deserve to be able to follow their own path without others coming behind them and "persecuting" them for their belief system.

Are you not claiming that the religion, christianity, has fucked a lot up? How is that these people's problem? Did they force the belief on you? Did they try to manipulate you here?
Now, if your answer is yes to the bottom two questions (in the questioning paragraph above), You have my apologies now, and I will not continue to pester you about this.
However, if your answer is no to the bottom two questions (in the questioning paragraph above), then why are you flustered? These people have done you no harm. It is not their fault that you feel this way. By saying the things you are, it is like saying the "white" people of today should be held responsible for the slavery of the 1700's.

Sweet Jebus he didnt bash anybody he just spoke a opinion, his opinion of organized religion and its followers...A bash takes up at least 2 paragraphs...and Visioneer no offense but I know several people who are highly spiritually enlightened and they do not follow a deity called God.
A person can reach that place without using a crutch called religion or God.

StuRBz, this is a interesting discussion. I would love to see what you base these opinions on. My soul does seem split at times between ancient ideas and the new ones here. I do have a fear of screwing up.

The part in line 3:17 where Soloman says "Everything is meaningless." I felt that way at one point in sophmore year. Life can seem pointless when you aren't doing anything or if you do the same thing everyday.

Interesting Charity you felt that way at a time in your life when you were poised to define yourself and choose meaning in your life. That can be a hard time in young life -- you are bursting for freedom and also struggling to find meaning and definition. Then years later we look back at ourselves. . .

12 years ago Eccl 3:17-18 was a bit of a whallop for me. It does challenge the typical heaven/hell afterlife notion that is often associated with the bible. Then to pray about it and hear over the radio "Imagine there's no heaven..." A nihilistic time for me, in a way, but also I had the sense that God was in fact there guiding/telling me these things. It resonated with me with Jesus' statement: "Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find life everlasting." Because in the Nothing we learn to exchange the focus of externalated doing for internal being and find the solace of Everything. It's no longer a race of do this, do that win approval for some outward thing, but a true focus on relationship, taking space-time for the leggo log material it is.

wow, well what are you learning from these scriptures?...
all i see is the same false religious doctrine repeated from a f*ck'n story
that tells people how to run there lives..

which brings me to organized crime
and how the creators of that story are in power..

you are also giving a false impression on awakening starseeds..
because even starseeds can fall under the impression that there
is a "god figure" that will judge him/her for who they are based on there actions...
when they in fact are there own God
containing that fear of Judgment that they are creating..

that in itself is a reason to stop with your bible study...
and to actually break it down
for what those scriptures really mean..

and
whoever lovecraft is..

he has the right idea..
i think about it all the time..

if i never existed, i would never have to want anything..

so, this life becomes pointless
because we are enduring pain and suffering to
grow and evolve closer to this source of creation
that we desperatly dont want to be part of..

You are right about not having to follow a specific religion to reach enlightment. What I am trying to explain is that at the end of the day it all comes down to the same basics and principles to reach a positive spiritual level.

Since this site is an Indigo site and the purpose of an Indigo is to help the world in a positive way, it all comes down to be able to filter the good spiritual facts from the negative ones. It's all about reaching the goal to fill your spirit with light and love.
So what I am saying is if you can become one with yourself to a level to be able to automatically filter positive from negative in the world, and it becomes natural to you, it is because your spiritual level has awakened.

There is good input in many religions you can use to better your way of life and your purpose as an Indigo. The purer your spirit becomes the more you start to understand the whole picture. So no, it is not about being a hardcore religious person, it's about finding yourself through positive spiritual filtering, and once you are able to accomplish that, it will be much easier to find your calling in life…
