Hi Freespeak
I downloaded this as an ebook from diesel books. I would also recommend the Indigo Survival Guide by Olena Gill. Have you read Weaveworld by Clive Barker?
FOR OPENERS I want to introduce this one for old-timers like myself. It's recommended by a well-read friend who introduced me to the entire INDIGO CONCEPT. It took me a year or two but it finally began to click in that *I* am an indigo - not just my son. I am just substantially OLDER - old enough really to be his grandfather rather than his father. I was over 40 when he was born.
So being an undeniable OLD FART (not just a regular one), I consulted with my friend who is ALSO an old fart and he turned me on to this book, an assemblage of lectures - bound and published.
THE TEXT of the top review at Amazon;
I only wish it would have been longer, December 1, 2006

This book is a very intellectually honest, accurate portrayal of indigo adults and the problems and challenges they face. The book will not mean much to a person who is not an indigo adult. The strength of the book is the way that it speaks to indigo adults. Any critic would immediately point out that there doesn't seem to be a basis for the book's arguments, except for roundabout generalized comments about astrology or the authors' personal observation. However, the authors state that the book should be treated as a hypothesis of sorts, so they know how much more work needs to be done. So much of the information is simply unknown, which makes it all the more valuable for the active indigo mind: you have a chance to help develop the knowledge. Start by living your own life in a more open way.
The book was drawn from lectures and the format is actually very approachable. It needed to be edited more (several errors in each chapter). The written lectures are presented and then questions and answers from audience members were listed and discussed.
I don't have any magical powers, but I do strongly identify with what the authors call the indigo soul. I would guess that very few (under 1%) people over 30 are indigos. It's very exciting to realize that (from what I gathered) we have souls on earth from all twelve of the different astrological ages/signs and most people on earth right now have Pisces souls. I always wondered why I was different and how some people appeared to be different. Apparently indigos will become the majority for the next 2000 years, but you never know if you're going to run into another type. Hopefully science will provide more of a basis for some of these issues in the future.

Haven't had a chance to do my homework yet. Got an Indigo Elder turning me on to Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado for my son. Says it is inhabited with a huge percentage of Indigos and I have been preoccupied with that.
Somehow I gotta get back ouside and finish the motorcycle. Procrastination rules
Naropa sounds interesting, let's know more when you have the time.
Trying to seduce my son into discovering it for himself. Can't just SAY "here it is" (damn Indigos). Working on the grant/financial aid aspects but he is control of that. The physical plant/buildings are conventional. Arcosanti would be my choice for a physical learning environment or Palo Soleri's Solarium but he wouldn't fit in there either. He's a creative misfit.
Oh my Dear and Noble Toad..
Living your Life In Default Mode
Motivate you.. I will not...
The circumstances prove you're caught
Between a Lie and Freedom's Chant
Success you can and cannot can't
Mess up, mess up your Rubik's Cube
Until it cannot make less sense
Bemoan, Bequeath, Berate, Befuzzle
You've not begun
To work Your Puzzle
What can I say? love to you both.
Sorry for the laundry. Indigos ain't easy
.
Aint that the truth. Now then FreeSpeak, I need your extensive knowledge of music. Who sang a song that had the words "taking Mother Nature's silver seeds to a new place in the sun)? the artist that springs to mind is Neil Young.
OK... I had to cheat to find it.. couldn't remember. Kept locking in on Joni Mitchell........
"Well I dreamed I saw the silver
space ships flying
In the yellow haze of the sun
There were children crying
and colors flying
All around the chosen ones
All in a dream, all in a dream
The loading had begun
All in a dream, all in a dream
The loading had begun
They were flying Mother Nature's
silver seed to a new home in the sun"
After the Gold Rush
Cheers FreeSpeak
Blue by Joni Mitchell is one of my favourite albums.
Here ya go Grandpa - highly recommended by one of my many gurus (UR12).
Gets into the Schumann frequency which may a biggie at 2012 and for that matter, may be awakening indigos now.
Kinda pricey - almost $20.00 used at Amazon.
Must be delicious.![]()
THE BIBLE - Better said, THE OLD TESTAMENT of the 60's Hippie movement. The forerunner of the Indigo Evolution. The hatching ground of the concepts of outrageousness of the times.
In any other context such as a doctoral thesis on Sociology or a proposal for Social Engineering, this man would have been publicly hanged.
Instead while we hot-blooded little back-seat lovers were panting over its pages in private, the Civil Rights Movement and Viet Nam War allowed us to smuggle these blueprints for a New Society past the censors.
A guy from Mars shows us which ends are up and teaches us to love trans-distance trans-gender and transparent. More importantly he shows us how to develop our own telepathy, levitation, and unification of spirit with and without bodies. Big favorite in Scientology circles.
Many, many copies out there. Three bucks at Amazon, probably less on eBay, used.
Just like The Bible. Leave it laying around the house to impress your friends. Makes a great midnight snack.![]()

PRETTY MUCH UNIVERSALLY SLAMMED in the Amazon reviews. There were some outright flame-throwers about how these folks and others like them are trying to make $$$$$ off the Indigo phenomenon. Like that's something new.
What's funny is that most of the reviewers don't know themselves if they or their kids are "Indigos". One reviewer had no kids (single person) but was absolutely certain that her DOGS were Indigos. I want one of the puppies.
The Judgement Call of the reviewers seems to be based on behavior rather than a perception of aura. It is obviously going to become necessary in the future fo all Indigo persons to register in a credentializing process, take a test and be CERTIFIED as an Indigo - complete with ID, RFID chip, card or tattoo, so one can be privileged or persecuted, according to the times.
I have NOT done my homework on this, I have NOT read this book.
It's your dollar.![]()
Didn't he write Starship Trooper about the forever war? You fixed that bike yet?
Heinlien? Honestly not sure. The song by Yes comes to mind.. Perpetual war... yech. Makes me wanna grow a tail and go somewhere else.
Taking a forced break from the bike. Got the carbs rebuilt and ready to mount on the engine and of course, huge rain. The bike is on the stand right in the middle of the only low spot in the driveway and when it rains it has its own moat around it. Thought about having it stocked with catfish and alligators but it will dry up in a day or so. Gotta get it done, though. It's a promise I made and will be a rite of passage for my son.
Thing is, if it runs well and if he gets into it like me, he'll probably never stop - except for gas.
It's been a long time since I read this but I could best describe it this way; If you can accept "Stranger In A Strange Land" as The Old Testament, then this is The New Testament of Science Fiction Social Adventure. Both are very entertaining reads BUT be prepared to have your head pried open and Brain Salad Surgery performed as you read.
These are the concepts that most everthing currently evolving were defined by. Somebody has to IMAGINE something before it is invented - right? That IMAGINING opens up a telepathic channel that lets one listen with other ears and see with other eyes. These guys - Heinlien and Clarke were the Prophets of the last two preceeding generations. The listened. They saw. They wrote. Hell, they may have invented Crop Circles for all I know.
Spacecraft coming to earth to telepathically gather and assemble multitudes of Chosen People to populate other earthlike planets. There must be at least two. It's the plotline groudwork for a multitude of sci-fi concepts including Star Wars, Close Encounter of the Third Kind, Contact, etc. Throw in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for Intermission.
Atrocious plotline of course unless you happen to be an Indigo but a guy with a little marketing skill could sell this idea through the churches and call it The Rapture. Of course he would crap his pants if something like this really DOES happen and he would no doubt be left behind if it did.... But then, with all that money, who needs eternal life?
Childhood's End is a poignant, very possible (to use the words of Carl Sagan) - reality. I don't mean to suggest that Arthur C. Clarke INVENTED the future we are living now, he was just one of the first to notice it some 50 years ago.
Like Ezekiel.![]()
has anyone of you gyus read "The Insight" by James Redfield?
yes it's the celestine prophecy...
sure i'd like to share... i haven't finished it yet but that's ok..
it's about an ancient manuscript which was found in Peru and it "gives" us 10 insights.. i cannot translate the exact meaning of them (it's really hard in my language too)...
the author writes that these Insights are "life keys" as they predict that time by time humanity will understand all of them each one separately and in row..
so this will lead us into a great spiritually evolved civilisation. i remember that the 1st Insight is about coincidences in our life and their meaning (people we meet and play an important role to our life etc...). the 2nd explains new things and things that are related to the 1st and so goes on..
it's really impressive!![]()
Ps: us government wants to destroy this manuscript
Ps2: i will try to write more about that book when i finish it! (remember it's a hard one, so it'll take some time)![]()
PERU is Holy Ground. The Plains Of Nazca are covered with ancient HUGE glyphs that can only be seen from the air. Just beyond the plains was discovered the ICA STONES which are covered with drawings that defy explanation - dinosaurs, UFO's, kind of like crop circles on rocks.
Great article here --- http://www.crystalinks.com/icastones.html
High up in the Andes is MACHU PICCHU and legend has it the Andes is honeycombed with underground passages connecting ancient cities the length of the mountain range.
I don't mean to distract you from The Celestine Prophecy but these may "rhyme" with your reading. I'll look forward to hearing about the rest.![]()
