    Heaven, Hell or other?

Some ppl believe they will end up in heaven others in hell. What about all other religions like buddhism etc.. Where will their soul end up? According to the Bible the ones who don't accept Jesus as their savior will not see the kingdom of God (heaven). And some very bad ppl like Hitler end up in hell.
So my question is, is there another place/dimension for ppls souls to go to. Like Indus, they don't deserve to go to hell because they never had a chance to even know what the Bible is about, they were raised that way from birth and are good ppl.
Is what we make up in our minds and the way we lead our lives determine where our conciousness will end up after death? Is conciousness what follows our after life?...Memories, guilt, religion? Do we create our own paradise/hell/reincarnation in our minds to determine where we will en up?

So where do you think your soul will go to when you die? (if you believe in some kind of after life)

I agree, hell isn't real. The Goddess is the ultimate teacher and even those darkest of souls continue getting the needed lessons until they get their act together.

Perhaps heaven and hell are equally real - but as products of our mind and expectations rather than actual pre-existing places.

So when your physical body dies you create for your mind an astral world - either a heaven or a hell as your beliefs and expectations have prepared you?

“What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if,when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?”

I don't believe in hell. However, my mother thinks I am going to hell because I haven't been baptized. I just don't believe that and it doesn't seem right to me. I think, we go into another diminsion and continue to learn the next phase of lesson. I don't think, it as simiple as just going straight to hell or heaven. I also, don't think we have to be baptized or saved by the the bishop or whatever. I dunno.. Any views on that?

Or another place, like reincarnation if that is what one believes in. So yes, I am starting to believe what you have created in your mind is what your conciousness/soul follows when you die. If you believe in paradise and think you have done everything in your life to deserve to go there, then that is where you will go. If you don't believe in anything than you just dissappear forever, if you think you are serving the devil intentionally and believe in hell than that is where you will go...That is my personal opinion anyways...

Very true except God's promise is all around as well and is based in our perception.

It all just is. The creator of all things or rather, the energy of all things that is the creator is not going to approach or even notice such ritualistic things as Baptisms.

There are many who got baptized that are pretty dark souled people. There are a much larger group of good, honest, loving and compassionate people that have never been baptized. It just doesn't matter. It is what it is.

Ah - but COULD you just disappear forever? Your energy would continue on in one form or another.

Perhaps those that don't "believe" that anything happens to them when they die exist in a state of suspended animation until "they" realize that they didn't disappear after all. Did you ever see What Dreams May Come? (with Robin Williams?) He was a doctor and didn't believe in an after life - until he died, then he resisted it, wanting proof and logic and not getting it

Yes that was a great movie. Perhaps those that don't "believe" that anything happens to them when they die exist in a state of suspended animation until "they" realize that they didn't disappear after all. That is another possibility that also makes sense. You could end up believing you are still alive without realizing you are dead in a same constant cycle in another dimension.

Or maybe - and here's a rather disturbing though - maybe if you don't believe anything happens when you die - nothing DOES happen to you, and you just continue on your current "life", world without end amen

Here is another disturbing thought: Maybe some of us are already dead and don't even know it, everything around might feel real but it could just all be an illusion.

yeah, it's hogwash! It's fear based and a way to get people to pay money and rally behind the organization.

Wow that is really creepy. But I do think that some people are without souls and that those people are dead in that sense. I think it's impossible to say for sure one way or another though with any individual so it's never something I would say about any one person. I think it would be very evil to declare someone as being without a soul and then be wrong about it.

I believe in both heaven and hell. Heaven is an actual place where life continues after physical death, whether or not you have heard of the bible or professed yourself a Christian. Hell on the other hand, isn't a place or even a state of mind. Hell is a state of total and irreversible non-existence. Which one you go to is totally a matter of choice and sincerity. It is not based at all on your deeds in life, good or evil.

    LoL!
makes it more of a story, no?..

seeing as it doesnt have the answers to all of that..

    ;P

That sounds like reincarnation to me...
By the way Sturbz, when you have a chance check out the thread called the Nephilim and fallen angels. I believe these fallen angels have become or what you call reptilians.

And why do you think that is? You said yourself you believe in heaven and hell, so it must be based on the deeds of ones life, otherwise everyone would end up in the same place...
