Springtime is dawn. It is a time to wake up from our slumber and face the light and leave behind the dark of our sleep state. It is a time to plan for our future harvest, plant our seeds and watch things grow. It is a time to celebrate all life and existence. It is a time to question what winter taught us and learn how we can be renewed and reborn. It is a time to see and feel the light that we have gone so long without. That's a nice way of looking at it. I have nothing against easter but I don't celebrate it at all because nothing about it resonates with me or means anything to me. But I hope all that do celebrate have a nice day.

And laugh at the changes of earthly life.

Thanx BeautifulI enjoy spring, but unfortunately this was the farthest thing from spring haha
I was here
But now I'm gone
Left my energy
To carry on
I love Spring! and I think Jesus was pretty kick ass though I don't think he was/is God
just a really cool guy who influenced many people for the better and still does at least his memory
even though I'm not religious I still like to talk about Jesus and how awesome he was/is
and any day to celebrate Spring is good!

EEEZUS! ok.. guess I will see you in the next life... should I be leery of all eggs, or a certain type? and this vomit... what will it be induced by? being drunk? Food poisoning? flu? or what?

uhm?? I'm thinking hard boiled , walk on the other side of the street when you see a hard boiled huervo struttin anywhere, and I hope the vomit is very dry not liquidy, as if she had just eaten a bucket of cheerios or granola oats, I hope it rises in the middle of the night very slowly choking off the oxygen supply with every creep up the throat, now Im hoping this happens during deep rem, the brain relaxes more as it gets starved of oxygen leading to even a deeper sleep, the throats airway become completely clogged with vomit and the lungs starve, deep sleep prevails, soon the brain starts shutting down and hopefully when the last brain survival reflex kicks in before life leaves she sees my image holding a bible in a purple and pink speedoit will be induced by incomplete digestion.
awwwell i guess youve got it all planned out
guess i wont get to "say sup to my resident pimpologist"

Yay! Happy Spring Day!
You know... the celebration of Easter is even more f*cked up when you grow up in a country that celebrates bastardised pagan celebrations in the European calander in the opposite seasons... Things i grew up with make so much more sense now that I'm experiencing things in the right place.
And it absolutely makes me want to figure out celebrations that are appropiate to New Zealand when I get back home.
GUS bless you

Interesting... my leaning towards atheism grows, for the first time I did not care or think about the meaning of Easter. I thought little of it last year, this year it meant nothing for me.
grins
I had a good holiday - for me it was more about a time to do some bodywork, working on strengthening my immune system and metabolism with the poke root tincture has been quite an eye opener. There have been other experiences that seem to be linked to it too so I am quite impressed with it.

Cool! It was my birthday on Easter Sunday, but I don't really celebrate my birthday either, besides Easter. In fact, over the whole Easter weekend I was more excited about the new Doctor Who episode on Saturday night than my birhtday or Easter, lol!
