There is always a lot of talk about how the government is screwing us, and how we are all sheep to the whims of the powers that be. I unfortunately, have a new perception from a project I am working on at work.
I had a brilliant idea for business. In a large city, I am going to create a chilled water company. Chilled water is used for HVAC equipment, basically cooling the air in buildings for air conditioning. I am going to market my company by telling people that I can supply them chilled water, at a cheaper rate then they can make it. It will sell.
This ad goes away when you register.
A stipulation I will place on this, is that they have to get rid of all of their existing chiller equipment. These are huge machines underneath skyscrapers, once they are destroyed they are not easily replaced. Well once all of these companies buy into this, I am going to have to charge a certain amount a month for the chilled water. Sounds great right?!?!
Let me tell you about this company, no names because I do not want trouble. This company charges $100,000 a month for a service charge, regardless of whether the building uses any chilled water. The building I am reviewing, may use $2,000 dollars worth of chilled water in their lowest month. Their bill is still 107,000 dollars.
It is insane, this is the corrupt corporate america we live in. Rape and pillage is no longer carried out with a sword and spear. It is done though corporate backstabbing. Our government is not the only corrupt entity in this country, our businesses and corporations are more guilty in my opinion. Any thoughts?
