Greetings Beautiful Souls,

I know in life we are granted certain gifts by which we are helped and help others. Discernment, empathy, dreams, interpretations... etc... What I'd like to know... how do you feel you are gifted?

Also... has anyone experienced being the reflection of someone? Like when you meet the person and suddenly you feel and think as they do and what is spoken from you are the thoughts and feelings or intentions of the other person? However when the person is out of range... you no longer carry those thoughts, feelings and intentions. Does anyone know what this is called?

I'm pretty sure that's just a highly developed sense of empathy... As for me, I wouldn't really call them gifts as everyone has them, just some people are better at using them...

Ahhh... ok... I think we use gift differently... life is a gift to me... it is all in how we use the gift of life though. Hmmm... a sense of empathy? Never considered that. I am highly empathic, however only recently have found myself experiencing this... whatever it is called... lol... part of it... and at first It was weird because I found myself drawn to people and then our experience together would be a complete reflection of them and I'd find myself thinking and feeling their intentions almost as if they were my own but in turn had nothing to do with me.

Or I'd find myself saying the things that suit... yes suit... like pair... what they desire... even though they are things I'd have nothing to do with apart from that experience. Strangely, once upon a time I would have given thought to those same feelings or intentions and yet these days never would... so in a strange way in some instances... I'm seeing the old me in the present life of others... ??? hmmm... In other instances... they have nothing to do with me but I find myself wishing and desiring things out loud that THEY had been wishing and desiring for a long time. Apart from their presence, the wishes and desires vanish and I'm left thinking... why on earth would I think something like that??? Hmmm... again...don't know what this is. Thanks for the help though... I'm open to any ideas...

I got all of the above. Also healing. I think the technical term is Clair-sentience, or what I like to call Empathy. Unfortunately it take some work to disconnect. It can continue to occur for me even at a distance. ( So annoying.) I am working on creating boundaries and filters to be able to clear my energy field of other's emotional back wash.

I often hear the inner dialogues that people are having in their heads, especially when in close proximity. Honestly, I thought everybody did that until I was age 16. I'm used to it so I can tell the difference between my thought and other's thought. I only pay attention to it if somebody needs real help.

For example at a flea market a young depressed and slightly suicidal girl walked past my booth. Clearly I had to reach out to her and cheer her up, encourage her to a better frame of mind, so I did. We spoke and chatted for about an hour. She left happy, confident and renewed. I recognized the opportunity to bring healing into her life. Normally I would mind my own business.

I am almost allways a reflection or mirror.....I have had to work VERY hard at this one, as I find I am a reflection to help them see something in themselves they need to change or work on, BUT the opposite is tru too, if someone developes a crush or something on me, for the longest time, I didn't realize my feelings weren't mutual.....until they weren't around, then I would think I was being picky, and give them another "chance", and sure enough as soon as they were in the same breathing space I would feel their crush towards ME, and think it was mutual, etc......then I have to be SURE to dicsern the reality once they are away.....I have gotten too good at this now, because I am avoiding people because of it when I shouldn't....I should see the lesson and get back into it....

Another VERY strong one I have is remote viewing, especially when the person is thinking or feeling anything emotional about me.....for example, EVERY time my ex would cheat on me, or start to, or go to do drugs, or lie to someone etc....I would call and wreck it for him EVERY time by telling him exactly who he was with and exactly what he was doing.......it sucks when someone tries soooo hard to lie but they can't....and it also sucks knowing EXACTLY how much your being lied to...

man, sometimes i am soooo bugged by the lie detector thing. ive often caught myself telling me lies about that sort of thing, makeing me want to believe that someone doesnt know the whole truth, or that im being paranoid, and so on. i guess its because i dont want to know that someone who shouldnt be lying to me is.

its the same thing with the crush with me, millisamouse, and many other things. often its as if im being physically pulled towards someone by their own attraction to me. tres annoying.

what do any of you do about these things?

I find that leaving the room, or circulating at parties etc, helps me see it is their feelings not mine, once i feel all the other people in the room too, since if it wqas really something I felt towards THEM, it would last without them there.....instead as soon as they are no longer present, i question them, and realize it, be flattered, but not sucked in.

People who knew both of us said we were very much alike. It was at Miami U in Ohio. We never hung out together; but occasionaly we dated the same women. When we saw each other in town we would wave. "How you do'n Roger?" he would call out, and I would reply "Same as you Roger!" and we would laugh. I think it is called a "Doppleganger"?(sp)? German translation?:"More-than-the-same one??"
He was a Math major, I was in Art & Art Ed. Right brain, Left brain, mirror beings. He was right handed, I was a lefty. He had a car and money; I had a garage art studio and painted full length portraits. After I would see him I would wonder if there were more of us.

And gifts? My cup runnth over with things positive that I enjoy sharing.

Your Empathic Abilities are very strong. To practice telepathy, lean against an old tree, an open your mind. Ask it to teach you about it's life. Exchange picture-thought-energies with it. That is what telepathy is.

If you are like me, my thinking is so much faster then my typing, that I end up with the start of one sentance with parts of two more; like a stream of conscious writing. I have to slow down my thinking by spelling out each word as I type; that will keep my thoughts focused and not going off in a tangent. I often will write it out ahead of time. Then I put in the computer. It takes me forever to put stuff into the computer if I try to just do it. I can spend an hour or two on one post if I don't plan ahead. It dosn't help that I am also very dyslexic. Before correcting, my writing looks like this.

In this case, it is the fingers that rule, and
the brains have to make adjustments.
That is why I think and then spell the word as I type.
One of the minds is composing,

If I am typing "copy", as "data entry" ,
I can "zone in" and type twice as fast; but
it usually takes me a page to "get into it".

The gift I really like is discernment. Not only do I have a highly strategic mind, the Indigo in me helps me to be able to see through the bull. I'm also good at creating strategies to get around people's bull but I suck at strategy games. The hell?!
