The Edge of the World you say you're from. You forgot to mention which of the multitude of edges you vye from, for this world is in "touch" with many other "things".
Philosophy? Ain't nothing to It!
We can salvage our dignity by shaking a fist at the world which is deaf to our pleas, and continue living in spite of it..........

We must distinguish between truth, which is objective and absolute, and certainty, which is subjective.........

Absolute Truth Is Certainly Subjective
Objectivity is a function/perception of subjectivity, subjectively experienced; Therefore by default of its origin, there isn't actually objectivity because Reality can only be subjective.
There is a subjective impersonal process that is willingly induced to transcend any limitation of subjectively ascertaining such Absolute Truth.
This process is unique to every being. It is available to every being as Potentiality, and merely awaits the decision to unfold as its Ultimate expression as God aware of God as ItSelf.
We Love OurSelf!
If one is to have knowledge, whether subjective or objective, one's ideas must accurately represent the objects that give rise to them.....
"You can choose to go back towards safety, or forward toward growth. You do not simply exist, but decide what your existence will be.
Life is ultimately self-determined."
to exist is to be, and to be is to exist. But how does one "be". The fact that we can think this very subject somewhat explains it. The fact that i am typing this is a question in itself. Now it exists online so it's now there or "being". But being is a concious perception right? The term "being" can mean many thhings, but for this message it wil mean concious and unconcious perception.
"You can choose to go back towards safety, or forward toward growth. You do not simply exist, but decide what your existence will be.
Life is ultimately self-determined."
To "be" vs to "exist".
Existence is the direct result of the Intention of Being. Could "being" be a direct result of the Intention to Exist?
What say you SunChild?
