On Saturday, "Neda", a young Iranian woman watching the protests in Tehran, was allegedly shot by a Basij, dying in her father's arms. It was captured on video. Some say she may be the new face of the opposition movement.

It's a shame that when fighting for something righteous people get shot and killed. I guess it just shows how little advanced their government is. At least the people fight for what they believe in. If only it meant something to their government. I wonder how many more will die before something changes over there.

I'm curious as to what the outcome will be of all this. It's too many things to even describe.

I find it odd how dis-interested this forum is with global affairs. You would think it would be a top priority to discuss our views on important matters but all people seem to want to do here is jerk eachothers egos off about auras and magical powers. Disappointing to see such a lack of indigo passion from a site that almost screams it from hallowed walls. Next stop, Spiritual Fads R' Us.

People get de-sentized to it, I mean how many deaths do we hear about in a day. I mean the patriachal mindset is in every sound clip every film clip. But your right, Miami. It is important to force yourself to watch stuff like that though and really think about it. I suppose if its not in our backyard its too far away to concern with. But there are those who are fighting greater opposition in the world on a daily basis than many of us do in a lifetime, so it's important to include them in our prayers and inner connectedness. Thanks for posting it.

Unfortunately a lot of spiritually advanced people are too concerned with self than the world right now.
Which is bad, yes. But the only reason I got more into the news is because my boyfriend showed me what's been going on. I think if you're out of the loop for a long time, you kind of forget there's more important things out there...

This is such a sad, sad real video caught on camera.

What's even more sad is that this isn't the only person this is happening to. Many activists are getting shot dead in Iran.

Sometimes I think that it is the reality around us, the intensity of what is happening at every moment of every day that draws us here - to IS, to a place where it isn't shoved in your face all the time, where you can draw a breath without feeling the horror going on all around you, where you can discuss the "whys" and "wherefores" without the specifics.

Don't get me wrong, it is a dreadful thing that happened, and should be treated with the attention and respect that is due, but getting mad about it, decrying specific governments and points of view isn't going to help matters any. Only in treating the cause of the problem, the hatred and seperation that fuels these sorts of horrors, can any real change be addressed. Until then the horror will be repeated, but with different faces.

“What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if,when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?”
    ― Samuel Taylor Coleridge

I am always concerned for the world.

But when I watch news- it is incredibly biased and half assed.

I always keep up-to-date but it depresses me because I can see the inherent patterns of where we are going....and it just aggravates me that many others are willing to look.

Nothing that happens in global affairs astounds me or surprises me anymore, not so much because of de-sensitization, but because I can see where these "energies" underlying the "drama" are heading. And so far, it's not pretty.

Oh some bigger banks bought out smaller banks. Well that's surprising (sarcasm).

Obama wants to streamline global economic affairs and health care systems. That's surprising (sarcasm).

Trouble in Iran? Not surprising....Special interests groups have been "trying to brew" something there for decades. And they could possibly be the next "Iraq."

Imagery, conflicts, affairs are being manipulated and exploited by those who have similar agendas. There are causes and effects, and then there are those who are aware of both, analyzing, watching for the best course of action to "steer" another larger aspect of this cause-effect cycle.

I am not speaking of direct manipulation, but subtle. There is an inherent program or pattern to the current affair of modern world affairs- in particular because of the mass ignorance and emotional turmoil of our global state. Because of this general "fear" underlying even in us Americans- it is quite easy to lead one another astray.

I watched it and felt incredibly disturbed by this womans plight. I feel compassion, but I will not then "agree" for American interference in Iran through this kind of imagery. You see, America has been trying to meddle in Iran's policies (and has been) for decades. For corporate interests as well as other policies. "Conflicts" will be created between third world race groups and religions in order to create the crisis needed to be "solved."

Similar to the modern day economic crisis.

I hope everyone wakes up to these patterns at hand and learns to heal at the source, not the surface "effect."

    Take care.

I spend a lot of time discussing current events, but I pick my forums. Forums that have facile, bratile trollish, fools for any sort of attention that turn the topic to ME ME ME are not really the sort of forum I like to discuss such matters in. These sorts of victims are entitled to more respect. So I pick forums that have a more centered and interested type of person in them.

    For My Fallen Sister

A vocal sister of the silent Revolution...

A martyr's death the world witnessed...

How many will hear your cries dear sister?

How many saw your death, and what is to come?

Eyes to see, Ears to hear...

My fallen sister is calling still.
    ************************************************** *****
Please...no agenda, she has affected me this deeply, just want to share my last respects to Neda in my way...this loosed the floodgate...

Someone once told me, 'one of the keys to happiness, is to never feel sorry for anyone.' That has kinda stuck with me. The world is too full of misery. Misery that is not ours to own. In the end, we are fairly insignificant really. The best way I can influence the world is to work on balancing myself and in doing so inspire those around me. Mostly without even saying a word.

That's two young female lives wasted in two weeks.

Seeing her face as she died made my eyes watery when i first saw it. Her final moments as she stared into the camera are hauntingly profound. I pay my respect to her for coming into this world and leaving in the way she did. I'm sure she has caused a shift in many people.

I meant to say "And not many others are willing to look" in my last post.

Yes I feel the same way.

When I saw her stare into camera and then go "blank" I gasped internally at that moment. It really tripped me out, angered me, saddened me, and generally did not surprise me either

The state of humanity as a whole- for someone to do that to another..is the worst kind of blasphemy. You are killing a "part" of yourself when you kill another human being.

We don't need American military intervention- we need spiritual work. The worst part is there are people in this world who are well aware of the power of such healing- and would do anything to stop it in order for their power of exploitation to be kept intact.

These things, are only going to add up even more...

Indigos, crystals, starseeds, whatever label- are only at this point going to be "Silent leaders" and by that I mean, perhaps we won't be presidents, or in any other corrupt system. But we will be the silent ones that help lead others in times of crisis, back towards the light. This is the way it has to be...half the stuff we know, learn, feel- if the public were to know they would think we are cult members, crazy, schizo, or lord knows what else.

Humanity is not ready for the whole truth- but somehow, we have to show them how they are killing themselves with this ridiculous behavior. And I have my own "plans" and mission that I feel I will contribute to, as I'm sure all of you do.

I hope...things go smoother than I originally imagined..

I agree. We don't stop this sorts of things with war or defensive intervenion. All change has to come from within starting with ourselves.
