Background

Canadian, U.S., and Mexican elites, including CEOS and politicians, have a plan to create common North American policies and further integrate our economies into a North American Union.

This plan goes by various names:

* Deep Integration
* Harmonization
* NAFTA-plus
* the "Big Idea" (C.D. Howe Institute)
* the "North American Security and Prosperity Initiative" (The Canadian Council of Chief Executives)
* Americanization

The end goal of the plan is to create a North American Union (NAU) by 2007, a new political and economic entity that would supercede the current countries of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

Despite the fact that most Canadians want LESS integration with the United States under Bush, not more, this plan and the process of deep integration are unfortunately well underway. The Canadian government has already:

* Created a Canada-U.S.-Mexico task force headed by former Liberal Deputy Prime Minister John Manley which is devising a plan to establish a continent-wide customs union with a common approach to trade, energy, immigration, law enforcement and security that would virtually eliminate existing national borders. The task force released its recommendations for common North American security etc May 17/18 2005.
* Created a bi-national military planning group (2002), soon expected to release a report recommending how the two countries' militaries can "work together more effectively to counter land-based and maritime threats." (See also: Deadline looms on continental defence project)
* Signed the Canada-U.S. Smart Border Declaration which includes such points as shared customs data, a safe third-country agreement, harmonized commercial processing, etc. (see link for full list)
* Established the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and agreed to harmonize Canadian regulations with U.S. regulations under the 40-Point Smart Regulation Action Plan

Our governments have been meeting in secret with NO media coverage and NO public input. Our human rights are being stripped away from under our feet. What will be left to stand on when we no longer have our freedom to be an independent nation? I could barely imagine what it would be like to have our borders erased, carry a national I.D. card (http://www.unrealid.com/what.html) and basically have no privacy as a human being.

the petitions may not stop anything, but many people are not even aware that there IS an american union. I still plan on getting petitions signed and helping in any way to spread awareness that the borders will be gone very shortly. It will happen regardless, this doesn't mean that it has to be accepted. i would rather die than accept a national ID card and live in a country where there is no freedom or privacy. The biggest lie that we are lead to believe is that we are powerless and cannot do a damn thing. The powers that be are scared shitless of the people becoming aware more than anything. Imagine collectively if we stopped working, learned how to be self-sufficient and refused to accept what the government was pressing on us. Yes people would starve out, there would be chaos, but in the end we would know that we made a stand and did the right thing. We have been sheep long enough, without even knowing it. There is no use fighting fire with fire. We must not conform to what our government tells us to do in the name of "security". We're not "only human", we have every right to refuse what governments attempt to impose on us.

This country will fall, but it might not be soon enough. RealID has been a plan for years, maybe decades. I have learned to ignore the government and their petty bullshit, however, I fear they won't ignore us free thinkers when they start losing ground at an even faster rate. I wish we could stop them, but it seems there's nothing to do but sit back and let this game play itself out.

The "Union" also put an agreement in place that, should there be another draft here in the US (as many believe will be coming soon), Canada will no longer allow draft-dodgers to seek sanctuary in their territory. I don't remember what Canada got in exchange for this...but that happened a couple of years ago when the draft whispers started getting louder.

Canadian Union of Public Employees Demands Inquiry into Police Duplicity at SPP Protest in Montebello

At a peaceful protest to oppose the real goals of the SPP Conference in Montebello, Quebec on August 20, 2007, Canadians were stunned after watching a 5 minute video which focused on the actions of 3 undercover Quebec Provincial Police officers. The video is available on the previous posting on this website.

The video provides clear evidence that the 3 masked uncover policeman, one brandishing a rock in his hand while making gestures towards the police line, were sternly requested by the middle age organizers of the protest to desist and leave the protest.

The undercover cops could have used a few acting lessons as their pathetic attempts to pose as protesters was transparent to the assembled crowd, and is now part of the public record. Watch the video and you will see the police provocateurs pushing through the protest line and being dragged away by their uniformed colleagues.

so now it seems our government is going to the extent of posing as violent protesters in a non-violent protest in order to discredit the "real" protesters....very sneaky indeed...too bad they were so obvious in the video footage taken. Maybe the police force here needs to include acting lessions in the training regimine.

It doesn't really matter, they will force this into our society by using it as a necessity. When fingerprint readers didn't catch in the supermarkets, they'll replace it with a "catch all" card.
Imagine the possibilities! No need to carry 3 forms of ID, just this one convienent tell-all card. Bank account, credit history, names of your pets. Size of underpants. It's all right here, in the form of an easy to use swipe and go card.
Lost it? No problem, turn around, we'll just scan that implant in the back of your arm instead.
