    Arrow Spiritual Blind Spots

Just a thought that has been rattling around in my brain today:

I used to drive a Ford Windstar, a pig of a van that was built on a truck chasis and steered like a cow Anyway, this van had the most awesome blind spots, whole sections on either side where even side view mirrors couldn't help you to see what was in the back quadrant. I can't count the number of times that I was taken totally and completely by surprise to try to change lanes and get honked at vehemently by some small vehicle blythely hanging out near my back pannel

I've also found that I have spiritual blind spots. Things that my intuition just don't pick up on. Somone can point something out to me - hand it to me on a silver platter - and I just shrug and say "this doesn't apply to me, I would never do this" or "this could never happen". And then, wouldn't you know it, I find myself taken completely by surprise by the very things that have been pointed out to me.

One way I've found of discovering what my spiritual blind spots are is in becoming aware of those blind spots I am pointing out to others. Sort of the moat and beam effect, only this is more like a moat and moat (or beam and beam, given the situation). Its as if there is some part of me that recognizes that this or that thing is lacking in my life, but it can't come out and admit it, so it points it out in someone else's life.

So what are your spiritual blind spots? Or, more to the point, how do you recognize/discover what is riding in those blind spots if you can't see them clearly yourself?

    Just a thought

mine...well, one prime example is today... I HATE the city..the thought of going down there is pure torture, and I REALLY do NOT want to go...

I missed the bus today by litterally 5 minutes, and so instead I was going to fly down, but my ride refuses to pick me up at the airport, and will only pick me up if it is the ferry....

So now I am supposed to wait until tomorrow and take the bus....but the person picking me up made me feel like a piece of crap for missing the bus today, even though we still wouldn't be there for 3 more hours, so it they didn't even have to leave there house or anything, so no skin off their back....

I am supposed to go to my sisters shower, and do some work in a recording studio, so is the bullying to sabotage me and make me miss out, or is the dread to save me waisting my time?

Usually I would be bullied into going down, feeling like some burden.... I KNOW I should probly not go, but almsot every time I DO and then it ends up being a nightmare... this time I wanna stay home and save myself the hassel..... but then am I missing out by being controlled by the bulliness...

I just can't tell in these situations where the pros outweigh the cons..... ahhhhhhh decisons, decisions.....

It is stuff like this where my blinders are on completley...

See, you hate the city, you hate it so completely. Is it possible that there is something there you are supposed to do that you really don't want to? And that is why you hate it so very much?

    I'm just speculating -

Were you distracted or something on your mind at the time?
Thats when I have problems is when under stress.
The method I use to re focus my aura and expand it is to close your eyes
(please pull over first or do before starting your vehicle)
Roll your eyes upward as far as you can ball up your energy Like when you get a chill down your spine and then push out your aura as far as you can, then open your eyes as wide as you can with almost full 360 degree mental vision.
its a fun exercise and dont limit this to driving.
do it at work, or before an interview or just because and see how you can feel your energy grow bigtime if done on regular basis.
If you focus a good feeling or emotion and do it you can change the mentality of a room by using this practise.
its just like working a muscle or learning to wiggle your ears, the more you do it
the stronger abilities you will grow in to.

Kinda..there is somthing there I am supposed to do, that the narccisit contolling EX dosen't want me to do,so he tries to bully me out of going while at the same time maiking me feel "bad" for not doing exactly what he is trying to sabotage me outta doing...

I hate the city, but I have decided to go and do my job and visit my famly INSPITE of him this time...so he can't bully me out of going, just to sit back later and say "see I told you Mellisa wasn't comming" when HE is the one that bullies me out of it every time... just to gloat about it later..

    Make sense???

And THANK you for the thread by the way... I REALLY needed it TODAY and RIGHT now, to see through this.

It does! Yay... so many times when helping yourself you are helping others as much if not more!

Interesting, because society so often mixes that up, and says that you can't help others by helping yourself, that you have to be either have to be a selfish bitch (pardon my crudeness) or a self-sacrificing one
