Shamanic Journeys & the Indigo Ocean

All my life I've had extraordinary experiences. They become stronger as I age... the current is one of the most extraordinary, because it involves falling in love with a French man and a shamanic journey of two very old souls, finally together again.

There is much to tell so I will try to distill it a bit:

I went through a 3 month rapid transformation of rebirth, regeneration, and seeing material objects as scintillating molecules, knowing I could penetrate solid matter. I left everything, quit my jobs, planned to move away. I knew the future more than I normally do, up to tiny details of life - like who I would be having a beer on the porch with at 9 pm. And it would happen without phone calls. I could find people by thinking of them and manifest strongly. Seamlessly in the flow of honoring guidance, universe, intuition, whatever you may choose to call it. Met 2 powerful women... then more and more powerful people on the same journey. Was found by 2 psychics and told it is time to bring my abilities and seeing out to help people and teach them. The people came, wanting readings and guidance. Then I fell in love... with the oldest soul I've ever encountered in the waking life.

He is French and when we met in the natural foods store, I had no thought of romance... I told him, "I am moving to France." He said, "Me, too." Then we proceeded to fall in love, after a period of truly believing we were friends and nothing more - we have a 9 years age difference and didn't think of one another romantically until we'd known each other for a week. Then the wave came.

One of our first nights together I was in an altered state (no drugs) and we were in a cave at the dawn of man. Gray walls, a black serpent slithering over the floor. It was pitch black and I could feel him there with me in the dark silence. There were 5 books on the floor of the cave in a cross formation. All of the books, which were actuall spiritual journeys completed between us already in past lives, had disappeared, leaving only a sparkling outline of where they had been. The only one remaining was in the middle of the cross where all other intersected - and it was a book about shamanism. A book I had just bought called The Way of the Shaman (which I was led to of course as a result of another mysterious journey). I thought "It's too much" and although I didn't know he was awake, at that moment he said "It's too much". We regularly read each other's minds in all varitieties of ways.

I began to see our connection as being in the deepest indigo part of the ocean, quiet and still. It felt like the place where shamanic dream seeing happens. I began reading a lovey romantic novel in French by Mircea Eliade called "Marriages in Paradise" to brush up on my language.

I soon had a past life vision that lasted all night of journeying on a boat in the 15 or 1600's together as merchants in the salt trade, from Europe to the Americas. I saw the crates, salt, furniture, stormy sky, all night long and could feel him there. It was as if I were a spirit, whispy, revisiting another life and time, floating through the bows and levels of the ship, then seeing it from far off at sea. This lasted for hours. I woke up at one point and said, "It's salt!" as if it were something I had long searched to remember.

Then last night I started reading The Way of the Shaman. I couldn't sleep because I'm so in love and thus have so many deep spiritual visions at night. I read along and came across a paragraph starting: "As Mircea Eliade observes, the shaman is distinguished from other kinds of magicians and medicine men by his use of a state of consciousness which Eliade, following Western mystical tradition, calls "ecstasy"." Imagine my surprise... I had no idea Mircea Eliade was a shamanic researcher. Then I came across the sentence, "The Eskimo shaman about to make the journey is referred to as "one who drops down to the bottom of the sea"." Not to mention all of the other things in the book I'd seen in my visions. Mircea Eliade and the Indigo Ocean came with uniting with this old spirit, and I believe we have the journey of the shaman to make together in this life... and probaby outside of this life as well.

And... he just messaged me, in his French accent: "I had dream of crossing 2 oceans with u last night !" I just messaged back, "I know. I alway saw my lover standing on board a ship, for years. I see the ocean in dreams and waking w you all the time."

Thus, the very abbreviated version of the "beginning" of true love between 2 shamans... a perspective rarely shared.
