hi! I'm curious about dreams. I always dream of myself almost getting killed. And some of my dreams often come true after some weeks. Does that mean anything?

dreams are quite often subconscious fears surfacing so you can deal with them. Occasionally you will get prophetic or precognitive dreams (well I do) but generally look at your dreams as your personal psychologist. They are your unconscious self attempting to help you grow spiritually.

"If I distrust the human being, then I must cram her with information of my own choosing lest she go her own mistake way. But if I trust the capacity of the human individual for developing, then I can provide her with many opportunities and permit her to choose her own way and her own directions in learning." - Rogers & Freiberg, 1994, p. 160

I do believe that your dreams can also be regressions into past lives as well as psychic visions or premonitions...but I can generally distinguish between a "normal" dream and a "psychic" dream
As a young girl I used to have recurring dreams about witches, that to this day, I am convinced were real. Of course, I was told that it was just a "dream". As I got older, I would have a certain dream about being pregnant or having a baby. If I dreamt this 3 nights in a row, someone close to me would pass away two weeks later. Of course, when I realised this, I was terrified of having these dreams! About two weeks ago, I had a dream just before I woke up that my best friend was crying hysterically and when I asked her what was wrong in my dream, she responded that her cat had passed away. About half an hour later she phoned me and was very upset and when I asked her why she was upset she told me that she had just put her cat down, as her cat was ill. The scary thing is that I did not know that she was even thinking of putting her cat down - it was quite freaky!!
I have also dreamt (many times) of flying, which I love! I often ask people what they dream (I am fascinated by dreams) and I can't believe how many people don't actually dream! I dream every night!
