if you read the op and many of the posts and discussions, it is suggested that you just accept what comes and call it a past life. follow it out, see where it gets you. if a person entertains doubts, they aren't ready yet or its just not their thing.

i feel like it was in an asian setting. i loved the lanterns at night, often went out late at night to feel the cool air, and watch the moon. i had an older brother who came out to get me often, and would help me to fall asleep every night. he knew aromatherapy was what soothed me. when, is hard to say. i just know it was a time of love and peace.

I'm not sure when I really started to believe in past lives and reincarnation, but I know that it was in high school when I tried a few ways to find out what my past lives might have been. I remember then that I had the feeling of being a warrior in one or two of them. I have also felt really pulled toward Ireland and Scotland. I have also had an affinity toward Native Americans as well and still feel that many of their beliefs have greatly affected me in this life. I also believe that there are many people that I have met and will meet that I have known in past lives. That sense of knowing someone you have never met before, but you know them? That is what I feel it means. There are times that I will get a knowing, or some form of a memory or information that I really shouldn't know but I know it's true, and I get a feeling that this is in connection to a past life that I had. Sometimes I will look into it to see if there is anything more that I can get, other times I get strong feelings that I don't want to look further into. I have always felt that when looking back at past lives, just allowing your mind to wander will bring you to interesting thoughts and sometimes you'll get the feeling that you are actually having a memory instead of just daydreaming.

Thank you for the info. I feel like I have practiced somewhat of a remembrance of past chapters. The man I am married to has a very strong connection and bond with me. I knew at first meeting, as did he. It's a wonderful love affair and beautiful friendship. I wonder where we were, and who we were in another life. But I strongly believe we have always maintained the same relationship as ''lovers'' in these other lives. I know this because our passion is noticed by all we encounter, and people seem to gravitate towards our energy

how do we know it's a past life, and not really going on in our astral life?
does it make a difference? its still the greater you. i guess you just have to decide which road to take and go for it. see where you end up.
the past is murky-- what is it? what was it? especially since time is an illusion anyway. my guides are in the akashic records and have me following it as a 'conventional' historical time line, except of course that humanity has been led astray as to what really has gone on here in the past 250,000 years (and more). anyway the underlying theme of my lives, why i'm here, has been to break down the slavery system and free the peeps, restore gaia.

about a year ago I started "seeing" the past lives of others during my sessions with them. The experience varies for me according to what the "incarnation" finds to be the most relevant information to share with me. For example, sometimes i get "shown" physical characteristics other times its the emotion of the incarnates experience. its absolutely fascinating and i love that i can experience it. i dont tell alot of people though...how do you bring that up in conversation..."excuse me...but there's a civil war soldier standing next to you and ummm it was you..." know what i mean?

Ha, ha, ha . . . . I do know what you mean. . . .
What a nice example the Medium psi ability. It is
very similar to Remote Viewing in it's "feel", but
is more people-persona specific. There are eight
_IS_ members in the "types of abilities" use list that
use that ability.
Have you "shared" with the mind of the visitor?
It is not difficult to do, but I always ask permission
first. I do alot of Remote View where I go visit people
as an observer first. Usually, I get the observations of
the locality, and often a specific incident. Then I can ask
for a mind share. and we can dialogue telepathically.
Be fun to do more comparing between the two abilities.
