i have a slightly different view. our mission is to experience all that there is too, evey conceivable emotion and action in order to put it into the bank of collective consciousness. it has to all be done and felt in order to fill it to its capacity. and when that has been filled and only then can we end it all. there are so many variations of every feeling ie each and every one of us has different expressions and that is why it has gone on for so long. im sure there will be a degree of accountability but considering that god is one of love and forgiveness i dont think its the main objective for existance. well hopefully else im going to detention for a long time :-) love love love forever and ever xxxxx
Yes i do agree 100% with that . BUT living with no rules only work with WISE ,SMART & RESPONSIBLE people " less then 1% of the population " .
If we live with no rules , then who gonna set the economic , social , political ...etc rules ?!! we can't live with no rules in this physical reality , what if i decide to drive 150M\hr in the city !!
What if i think its oky to kill & eat people !! I think we humans do need a more advanced or a higher thing to send us some rules to live with other wise we will end up like what is happening today !
& again yeah its very nice if we get to the point where we don't need rules to live with & for me i don't follow any rules because i trust my judgments & i trust myself being wise enough to know whats wrong & whats right .. but for 99% of the population THEY NEED A DAMN RULES .

This is exactly why any criticism I recieve in IS, I stand my ground etc - and it is NOT me who has a problem with the person, it is them for having a problem with me... Because I do not interfere with them or make things personal with them... so therefore I do not see why there should be an issue to what anyone says... if you dont like what someone says, dont say anything... unless you feel that they are using bad language or that they are attacking you.
Agree to disagree, but do not make a fight over this... as I mention before many times, we are all here to do similar or the same things, but it doesnt make us part of each others team... some duties need segregation to work better or safer. Not all of us are from the same origins either (such as old world or alien manner) so therefore this cannot help us work together too... so I hope you understand what I am trying to say?
This is not an attack just an eye opener.
I believe anyone who gets in your way, criticises you etc are not on your side and therefore should be avoided for your own personal interest and progression in life.
If anyone upsets you - they are the one with the problem, you can talk with them about it, but if they are not respectful of you as an individual and your ways, then you should avoid contact with them altogether!
Because they are obviously from a negative source, for you personally.

Just another view having been involved with police work for 13 yrs including katrina in New Orleans... I have seen children raped, police officers shot for fun, gun fights over loud music and torture for fun... so how does that fit into the posts above?

That is why rules have to be made, because we live in an imperfect world where self-regulation is the exception, not the rule. In a perfect world everyone would be aware of the consequences of their actions and would behave accordingly. Everyone would be aware of the value of human life and would respect it. Everyone would understand the trauma involved by driving 150 MPH in the city and would drive slowly so as to avoid causing any disturbances/accidents.Originally Posted by AnotherView

I guess that was my point; the few on here that I read posts from are great, but in the light of day and on the city streets I fear that all of you are the exception. I would love to tell you that over the years I have witnessed a proliferation of kind acts and the ability to self-regulate, but unfortunately the trend is logarithmically going the other way.
Like I said; Just another view… and maybe a reality check, but I was compelled to post!
I completely agree with Sshenry and Hrishi.
Raven mother has a point but someone that goes 150mph through the city is not thinking of the consequences that might later come. Most people in todays society are simular to that, which is why we have rules. Hence Raven thinks we can't live without rules.

I agree that society needs rules. We are a competitive society. Although we have great capacity for good, the capacity of evil is there too. And it's often easier to do the evil thing. It can even be profitable.
But it does not make it morally right.

i dont follow anyones rules and ive made alot of mistakes.
buddhists are great, they do wateva they want and make it spiritual.
when i saw my sadhu getting pissed and then drive me and my brother home it was an amazing experience,i thought this guy is ment to follow all the rules or else he wont attain enlightenment and wont get to choose his next carnation but hes just braking the third feta, the one of ritual attachements, and that acctually that is a part of the enlightened way to be. its all kinda zen.
ps, when ur meditating everyday and are thinking that abstinence and the acetic life is the way to end your suffering its like ur winding an elastic band with every movement of the mind, when u see a person who is free of suffering and they are not emaciated the band sort of snaps back in your face and you wake up!

guys, im going to report in;
me and my dearest friend had been in a relationship for three years when she decided she didnt want to be with me. i dont do much with my time and i have a way of spending it with stoners, she wanted to be something greater possibly or was just bored after all that time, wateva, its kind of irrelevant.
Wat is relevant is the fact that i still wanted her, lustfully. Being quite a straight forward guy i said look, i wana be ur mate but i wana be in ur pants and those two things are oil and water baby.
I may have also told her to come over and take a meat missile.
anyway, she was being really mature about it and i just acted like a total twat.
im dealing with the consequences and i wish i hadnt acted now.
so im sorry for not accepting my own emotions and making her feel like crap about it.
