Painful heart chakra

Hello everyone, Lately i have been busy with meditation and making more progress then i have been able to for years. I know of some blocked chakra's i have and wanted to help open them during meditation.

My heart chakra feels painful now though when ever i feel affection for a person, it physically hurts a bit, while i know my heart as organ is perfectly fine. I've also been working on the root chakra, (even moreso then heart). Does the pain in the heart chakra have to do with this process?

well ultimately it is a case of being cruel to be kind - once you have gotten past the initial pain (it does go away) you are much more capable

the more open your heart chakra the more energy you are capable of generating as a whole because the heart is your metaphysical generator thus the heart generates the whole aura or your EMF. This is why they call it a soul expansion when you have a heart expansion, coz you literally increase your range.

Be sure to work on the root chakra and secure that and be grounded before you work on any higher chakras. I intuit that working with the violet flame would be good for you, as would a hematite pendant.

Hematite...Hematite and i dont get allong. hematite likes to make me very sensitive to it and tingles very annoyingly...are you positive it should be that very same hematite??? (sad)

I am 100% positive....that your intuition trumps my intuition. Thank you for questioning me. It is never appropriate to let someone else tell you what is best for you. Take from outside sources what resonates with you and leave the rest behind without judgment, for it was meant for someone else. Other stones that are good for the root chakra include carnelian, black tourmaline (my fave) and bloodstone. Experiment if you want. Just a thught, is it possible your hematite is "full?" and needs to be cleansed, charged and re-programmed? God Bless You for running everything through your own filter and inner wisdom.

(flush) I didnt meant to just wave it off. Its just my personal experience with Hematite isn't too positive. Thank you though, i think. (still dealing with extreme modesty and self confidence issues)

Wow that is happening to me right now , i do have that pain in my heart its so painful to the point where i thought there is something wrong with my heart , so i made a blood test & also tests for my heart but naaah my heart is 100% perfect . this pain is really strong & really annoying

as far as crystals go i am having great success with a necklace i made. it is a clear quartz necklace and has 4 rectangular pieces of rose quartz. in the middle of those is a jade turtle. rose quartz is especially good for healing the heart chakra and jade as well. the clear quartz is good in general for all chakras

mine hurts often too. my heart is the most active chakra, and I think that is why I am so empathetic. There have been days when my heart feels LITERALLY broken and it is too painful to bare. I wish I could explain this and help you, but I can't. It may just be you picking up on someone else you are closely connected to..?

Perhaps there are outstanding issues - try keeping a notebook handy while you meditate and write down any impressions you receive. I've found this helpful in trying to work through blocks.

Your right. Last night when i meditated i had a colourful flash of an event that seriously mucked me up years ago. It concerned an elderly lady whom i befriended. she had an Attack when I visited once unexpected. Scared me to death as she was in pain, and i was utterly helpless and scared she would die before my nose. i wasnt to call the ambulance at all, she forbid me between wheezes. (she had a hole in her heart.) Slowly she did recover but i didnt dare head back unexpected anymore. I was sixteen i think. she later called me angry after she forced me to take her bycicle because she never used it.

As stated she called to say i was a user and how could I. I recall it being a traumatic call because i never used her. I only aided her and tried to be a friend.

I hadnt thought of it in YEARS. So that notebook is a very good idea. Thank you. (hugs)

Oh, I can so relate to the heart hurting issue. In fact, I have just joined this sight based on a google search (I typed in Heart chakra/ Heart hurts) and here is where I ended up. My heart has been hurting on and off for a very long time and part of it is that I feel I married the wrong person. Also, just as I was about to leave my husband he ended up getting brain cancer. So, since I am so attached to him I could not find it bearable to leave. And, though he was given a 5 percent chance to make it to 5 years his MRI's show he now has absolutely no cancer and he just finished his last chemo treatments last week.....which brings me back to my original dilemma. Do I leave and is staying really all that good for my heart? I go to these healing circles and twice someone said they could see that as the energy work was being done on me that they could see that their was a grate over my heart. Truly, I believe that staying with my husband is causing this. But, also, now, I am working on my solar plexus in order that I may stand up for myself so that I may be able to leave. It is truly hard in that I don't know if I can go it alone. Either way, my heart hurts. So, I can relate to the heart hurting. Tonight it felt worse than usual and in a way I am relieved to see that it has to do with recent astrological events. Next week I am getting my Reiki master training. So, I guess my soul is just expanding?
