Are u in college? if so, what's your major? if not, how come?

I was in college in '05 but dropped out for a number of reasons. My focuses where political science and philosophy. I plan to get back into college this spring though will be switching my major to film production.

last time i got a photo it was red with golden yellow around my head
yes, I started out as a fine arts major, but changed in my sophmore year to an animation major, which is mostly computer based although I am takeing a traditional animation class now which does involve alot more drawing. Also I still have a deep passion for the fine arts and an interest illustration, and I still paint as much as I can in my free time(mostly with acrylics but occsionally I mix stuff up, and sometimes I do watercolor). Technically a senior right now but has enough classes left to do that will probably go another year.

I have a masters in family and consumer science (home economics for those not up with the times). I am also certified in other things, too. However, I like teaching the high school kids, they are attracted to my personality. (my principal has even told me that my students worship me, of course, that aggravates her because she hates me.) Some find that strange, but I know why. (indigo!!) Anyway, the school I teach at is a prek - 12 school, and when I see the "little people" (prek-1), they look at me, smile and wave. I know they "know", and it gives me a lift. It's good when I know and they know who we are. I don't see the kids do this to other adults, so it's really special to me.

thanks! I couldn't make up my mind, there were so many things I enjoyed studying, so my adviser basically let me study whatever I wanted - a mix of philosophy, history, art, theology, literature and poly sci - and draw it together under a common theme (that's where the poly sci comes in). It was wonderful - I was able to make my own curriculum.

As for anthropolgy - I love history, and I love trying to connect it to the present - how it shaped where the world is today, etc. I tried law school but didn't make it through the first year due to a variety of issues that took place outside of school. (I literally flunked by 1/100 of a point...so annoying).

Ahh well, I do believe things happen for a reason...

    hehe

I got into the computer field too 10 years ago. Big learning curve. I too am bored with it but it taught me how to problem solve very well. To eliminate things until you find the solution. I was mainly in the repair / tech support field not networking although I learned a bit about everything.

    Part time student in these...

    French
    Silversmithing

I am considering Greek after French - a maths improvers course to help give me confidence to get into a finance course which could then lead me into a job where I can become a translator, foreign exchange accountant, investment banker etc; looking at funding my team in many needful things.
Knowledge is power, and unfortunately (as much as I am not materialistic personally) money is power too - and I need something to help boost my teams morale by getting the land and resources we need for "worse case scenario" as the rest of my team are sitting around, worrying etc because they are too poor and lazy to pull their fingers out (sorry team, but this is how I feel)

Most of you know this is my feelings anyways, so its not shock to you.

    Rant over now... apologies.
