No real reason why I'm sharing this other than I thought it was kind of cool when I had it - particularly the physical sensations.
One night I dreamt I was with three other girls my own age, I was maybe in high school at the time. We were exploring an old room where everything was covered with white sheets to keep the dust off the things being stored in there. We found this old rectangular mirror, about 35 inches in width and about 25 inches in height. I don't remember anything about the frame though, except that I'm sure it had one.
We could all feel an eeriness coming from it though none of us could understand why. When one looked at it it would at first appear like a normal reflection, but soon the reflection would become darker and darker, static noise became visible like during a bad TV reception except it was far less electronic, far more dynamic. I'd look away and look back and it was back to normal.
I then touched it and I felt a very strange buzzing, tingling sensation as my finger slipped into it as if there were no surface at all. My reflection also became hard to see, faded, but still slightly visible. I got scared and pulled it back out. My hand felt out of sorts, tingling and numb like it was there but not there, almost out of sync with reality but it slowly reverted back to normal.
The girls started getting freaked out and rightly so. But they were curious too, encouraging each other to go deeper inside and see what it was.
I don't know why I volunteered, In reality I'd have found the idea stupid because we didn't know what this thing is or what it does. Anyway, I wanted to just poke my head in, but when I did I felt the whole thing starting to pull me inside. I could see the girls screaming on the other side, their sounds were muffled like they were at the other side of some water. The scary part was this buzzing, tingling, vibrating sensation got more and more intense (I believe I probably went into a state of sleep paralysis for a while in real life which would have given me these sensations) until, before long I began to disintegrate and I thought I was going to die. I could even feel myself losing conciousness and I could see my hands fading and dissolving.
I appeared intact in a strangely decorated room with a tall ceiling with a weird statues of some woman and the real woman depicted in these statues walks towards me. On the main wall there is a swirling vortex of light and heat. She's all dressed in some kind of gold skimpy outfit, but also kind of like how early civilizations might depict a goddess. She had a mask on too. She said something I don't remember, then told me to enter the vortex as I had to go home. I didn't trust her, she gave me a strange feeling like she had a lot of power and like she was trying to deceive me. The other three girls were there too, and they kept telling me there's nothing to worry about and I didn't know whether to trust them any more either.
I refused to enter it but it pulled me in anyway, and then I woke up before I saw the other side.
One of those dreams that strangely you remember almost everything, and leaves you with a strong lasting impression for days. But it doesn't actually have any sense to it. Maybe I've been playing a bit too much Tomb Raider? The room at the end and the woman certainly looked like something out of one of those games.
