psychic, intuition/sixth sense, coincidence?

I've never claimed to be psychic but I have always been extremely perceptive and very intuitive, but these are different things I feel. Through childhood and teens I was often able to know silly things like what would be for tea that night (without knowing what food was in the cupboard), or knowing when a goal would be scored while playing football in school P.E. lessons. Not very psychic I know, more intuitive I guess? I've also guessed or known about many other things instinctively but I've never been able to control or guess at will, it's always been random.

Anyway, just recently like in the last few weeks I've noticed these random events are occuring more. Only the other day I knew there would be a one hour delay leaving work to go home and it happened. I work in a railway station and a passenger from the last train of the night had a problem we had to sort out. But I knew a couple of hours beforehand we would be exactly one hour late leaving and I knew the train itself wasn't the problem but something else to do with it.

Then today I decided to browse some photo magazines in the newsagent and for some reason bought one that I haven't purchased in over a year. When I got home to read it I found my name and website mentioned in there!!! Spooky or what?

So I'm interested, does anyone have any thoughts or opinions over psychic ability versus perception and intuition? Is it chance or coincidence? Would these abilities grow with spiritual awareness?

Well what I have read is that intuition is a form of ESP. It isn't something seperate, it's the same thing. I've read that the crown of the head is where you take in psychic information and it manifests as intuition.

People that have strong intuition just know things. Like what you're talking about.

Another thing you might want to call it is prediction. Psychically Intuititive people predict the future in a way, even if it's just small things like you were talking about with the scoring thing and all of that.

I do phone calls. I do NOT have caller ID on my phone, but I am able to accurately predict who is calling as soon as the phone rings.

Just think about it - if we create our own realities, than we know everything about the world we have created for ourselves, including who is calling us, or where our names will be mentioned, or anything that may effect us directly in any sort of way. Perhaps we are not predicting so much as remembering.

Just a thought.

Yea i feel this is as close as we get to psychic at this point, but you must learn to manifest your reality and not let your thoughts manifest it for you.

If you are predicting the future but its not under your control think how dangerous that could be, mayb ur not predicting it but causing it to happen.

This is how i see it and i use my intuition to help me in science.

I didnt know that equation would work i just took it for a given that it would.

i arrange entire theories and experimental models BEFORE approaching them mathematically, this is not the given way but i assume if i can dream it then nature allows it in her framework which she does.

In this way ive known many things before they happen or are officially happening or i know they can happen before i know anyone else knows they can happen or before ive read that they can happen.

Now with science i can choose what will happen and what i predict and what will comes true at the cutting edge tends to be an offshot of what i think might be true.

Yep - as long as your not suggesting I use mathematics to control my intuition. Last math class I took was in 1988.

Yeah I get that too, mainly when my dad calls, I probably know it's him around 85/90% of the time, yet he doesn't really have a pattern as to when he'll phone. We almost have that indigo understanding - we don't speak much because we know if one needs the other we'll get in touch, besides that we're happy to lead our own lives! Weird!
