Creativity ~ Window to the subconscious

Creativity abounds in our world, and it is absolutely wonderful. Some people get bogged down in the mundane reality that they create for themselves. Yet that is what it is, creativity. Creativity is one of mankinds most powerful tools. Most technology comes about from an idea on a sketchbook... What if I did this, or that, or made that better. One hundred years ago, Two hundred years ago, 1000 years ago, who would have believed that mankind would soar through the skies in cylindrical tubes? That pictures could appear on boxes over vast differences. That the entire world can talk and chat and laught with any other part of the world.

These ideas have spawned a modern world. Yet creativity goes so far beyond our physical world. Think of all of the games, books, movies, shows and so much more. It allows us to escape this physical world in our imagination. So my thought was where does all this come from. I had this thought. What if creativitiy is a window to the soul, or the subconscious, or even true reality. Have you ever been reading a science fiction book and said hmm that should work, it could be applied to real life. Or hey that may be possible. How many people saw Avatar and felt an immense pulling that that was real? How many people have read or seen any fiction and said wow thats real, thats right, or thats possible. We see movies that have subtle hints about how things should be, the right thing to do, the light in every human soul. I am sure a lot of that is constructed willfully into what is being created. Yet, even that has a base.

We are all capable of tapping into creativity. Some people have an easier time than others, but that can be said about any form of art, magic, media, or science. So what if? What if all the media that makes it to the masses is a construct of the greater unconscious telling us messages. What if we are trying to give ourselves messages to wake up. I would love to hear any thoughts about this. I would love to hear examples of where people said hmmm that could be real. Maybe there is no connection, maybe it is a coincidence. Although I am not one to believe in coincidences. It all happens for a reason. Tell me what you think.

yes! I can't tell you how many films and books that have come along and given me some message I needed right in that moment, to keep me going, keep me awake... like a gift. I do really feel as if some consciousness is speaking to us through creativity whether it be our higher selves, source... who knows!

Whe I was younger I used to be a dance and I always say that dance saved me. Some how in all the hell I was going through at that time, I found dance and was able to learn it and express through it. I don't feel it was at all a coincidence as it was the one thing that kept me going from 3 years old to about 20.

True creativity...when you are doing something creative and get into that groove - into that "zone" where everything else fades into the background, that, I truly believe, is when you are in direct contact with your soul.

Some people experience this when doing something physical - like dance or a particular sport, others find it in painting or writing, drawing or playing music.

So dance anyway. Sometimes when I watch just average everyday people dance, it really moves me. That probably has alot to do with my history but something else is going on there... an energy expression that comes out of a person, even one not formally trained, that is just so powerful and amazing. I used to love to go to the summer music fests in our town and listen to the music and watch people dance but as of late it can be really too much for me, the energy of the children and the elderly people just dancing and moving however they feels brings me to tears... and of course people find that wierd.

Who cares if you dance like a white guy... I don't dance enough myself these days. I should take my own advice

I enjoy dancing with my wife. We get to the beat and just move, not really any particular style but our own. We have been told we dance well together, but we have no formal lessons. I dont care who watches, I will still dance.

Glad to hear that. These days I will only dance at concerts and these days concerts are few and far between lol

Getting back to you OP, I agree that we can all tap into creativity. Sometimes it can be a challenge but it is there, we just have to figure out how to access it and allow that energy to flow. It makes me sad sometimes when people say they can only access their creativity while they are high... that energy is right there in the sacral chakra... I think this is why dance is so powerful because the hips moving get's that energy really pumping

I began my awakening process about two years ago. Once I embraced I began to SEE and HEAR something in ALL of the movies, music, and entertainment. The message is WE ARE DREAMING NOW. BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU CANT SEE. LIVE COURAGEOUSLY. But most of all This world is one of many. I truly believe this and embrace is. I am now in the process of traveling to these other worlds. But i have seen that it takes much practice. To think in the Dream (NOW) is like Programming yourself when you wake. If you can understand what I'm saying. It takes to notice that we are very repetitive then we began to notice the flip. FLIP = we dream now (limiting ourselves as a gift) Then we wake (our perception as a dream) with Full creative abilities, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Srry fot the long post. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! DREAM!!!
