.....for a few days-maybe weeks(i didn't count time) i feel this place is getting a different energy, sort of, there are still lots of caring people here, don't get me wrong.....but it seems to me "ego" is taken the place of love and compassion .....i only came here maybe two months ago or so, i found alot of help and support through the members here which i thank you for from the bottom of my heart, but that is aside the point!

lots of threads contain a form of communication that doesn't get us anywhere, IMO it is really counterproductive to who we are....i realize rage is a characteristic mentioned a lot, but that doesn't mean we are meant to stick with that , i believe it is rather for us to overcome that rage, i believe we tend to rage, cause we are so frustrated over this world...many here think we are warriors and that is true, but i don't think in the sense of a war-warrior , i think we are as strong as a warrior to be able to deal with what we see and feel here ....being able to transform this world for our children or do you really believe you can create peace through fighting??? if you do, than i wonder if you understand anything! whenever ppl start fighting, one will loose, the one that looses carries anger and sooner or later he will get back to you or he will obey out of fear, not cause he believes....(i know that is very simple said, but true)...i believe our mission is to bring true love back into this world, most ppl don't really know what that is! this love will help this planet and its ppl to heal....

one is not enough to bring back the love, there need to be many...therefore i believe we need to stop attacking each other and work together, not as a clan or elite group or an army for that matter, but as ppl that learn from each other, how to be concious, how to be aware, how to love unconditionally , how to use our gifts, once we as "indigos" with our gifts get there i believe we will be able to infect/awaken anybody ,without rage and warrior attitude...... i mean does anybody have the gift to kill??? (other than every human could do it) i don't think so, are we really meant to be so destructive? don't get me wrong, there is going to be lots of destruction, but i don't think it is us doing that, we are to bring the new after the destruction!

maybe it really is just me....e.a i have been given the gift to heal and the one to open ppls eyes, if i want i can get in there head and break down unhealthy patterns....

honesty is good and appreciate(believe me i can smell lies before they are spoken), do you need to be rude in order to be honest? i'm not judging anyone here but i ask you to have a second look at things.....i might be totally wrong, i mean it's my truth, doesn't mean it is true for everybody....but i felt very compelled the last few days to post my opinion about what i see happening here....i hope it made some sense, spoken from my heart (pls don't forget english isn't my first language so don't put single words on the scale of justice)

i have felt similar vibrations as of late in IS. so much fighting trying to prove something and this makes no sense to me. i have found that the only way to bring love into the world is to be loving. i feel we must allow people to learn from wherever they are.

so i guess what it all comes down to for me is, do you tell people how to live or do you show people how to live?

If I may put on my psychology hat, the asertion of the ego is a very 'normal' thing for young people who are just developing a self that is seperate from that of their parents and families and there are many young people on this site (I'm talking specifically early to late teens). Just because they are Indigos (and not all of them are) does not mean that they will bypass the ego stage altogether. If anything, this 'stage' may be more forcefull than that of those who go through this normally due to the fact of their knowing so much more and being so certain of what they know (I am forcefully reminded of my 16 year old - she knows everything, and has to force herself to not belittle people who are ignorant of what she is talking about). Here on IS they have finally found people who will listen to what they have to say and will take them seriously and sometimes this can feed their ego in ways that seem overpowering.

Unfortunately, many adults get stuck in the 'ego development' stage and never move on. Adults stuck in this stage might not attack, but they do have a tendency to defend their point of view as if it were a matter of life and death, the ego is trying hard to assert itself, and in adults this tends to surface as a need to have their point of view proven correct and to defend their opinions.

The best way of dealing with ego (in my humble opinion) is to not take it personally. To understand that it is a stage they are going through and that one day they will realize that the ego is not something to be defended, but something to be overcome - something to move beyond.
